Yeah one issue in fests that don't sell well is there is zero extra money and every last dime is squeezed. One example that I've seen a few times is setting highly unfavorable vendor terms, which ensures shitty vendors. Another would be hiring less staff to do security, crowd control, trash pickup, etc. etc. When the producer knows they're going to lose their shirt, they only make money by saving money, which results in a worse experience.
That said, it ought to be great weather in a venue I happen to really like. The size is only an issue if they either bungle the stage design (distinct possibility) or oversell the event (highly unlikely). If the production design and crew is from Primavera, I think they can make the layout and experience quite nice, if it's the LN crew that did the last event(s) there, it might be very weak.
We won't really know anything until it either gets cancelled or goes on. I'm still planning to attend one day at the very least, since it's across the street from my work!
Tickets are slowly creeping down for this. I’ll fully participate in the shit show if I can see a bunch of bands for like $150. At Cruel World, I managed to make it from gates open toward the end of Morrissey without buying anything other than a coffee. Just pack an empty water bottle and snacks in case vendor lines are fucked.

Tickets from StubHub after fees: $292 Tickets from primavera website: $460
I don’t see them officially selling many more tickets so they either have to discount or be content with the number they see today
StubHub resale for 3-day passes is down to $250 with fees now. Still waiting to grab mine, although I’d be happy with $150 rather than waiting for the absolute last minute.
Jehnny Beth already waitlisted. And its funny NIN cant be on that list. Its def the first Darkside show back. And I think an AM show will pop up but not til week of.
