shocked they are still making music. One of those bands that should have retired with the mid-10's alt-pop boom.
they have that one song that was good but I literally haven’t thought about them since.
I remember around the time after their first release there was a discussion on the coachella forum about potential future headliners and someone wagered that two more good albums from them and they would lmao

Fast forward to 2020 theyre playing at a venue in Long Island where artists go to die (the paramount)

I always love that argument. “Hey, if this band makes two more incredible successful albums they’ll be a headliner!” Ya. No shit.

Ugh this makes me sad. The Paramount is beautiful and a great place for a show. 8 years ago it was really promising (they had Tyler the Creator, Gaslight Anthem, and Twenty One Pilots within like a week). Now it's the Billy Joel cover bands, OAR, and good stand up. Depressing.

I really like The Paramount. It's Webster Hall/Irving Plaza capacity in a slightly less cramped space. Only problem is the venue is far from the train station (and Huntington is kind of a haul) so you get home late but it's not a bad spot.

oh yeah it’s a nice venue and the sound is good I wish they got better shows I think since it’s opened I’ve been there three times. But the beer is insane it’s like 18$ for a beer there.

In my party-heavy days, I used to just hit up one of the bars nearby on that street on top of drinking a few of those tall Corona cans on the train but, yeah, agree drinks are crazy high prices there particularly for being NOT in the city.

Primavera's social accounts have come alive, today, so there could be an announcement from them imminent. Doesn't necessarily mean GovBall's going to drop its lineup any time soon, but a Primavera drop would at least give us some more idea of folks who are out (and, maybe, answer the great Frank Ocean question).

O man...i hope the lineup doesn't come soon i wanted to hear more about peoples experiences at the Paramount
If Frank is playing MSG, I can't see him also playing this.
Is Frank at MSG confirmed? I know there's been talk of a LiveNation tour with an MSG stop, but I haven't seen anyone with inside info give that one the thumbs up. But it is entirely possible I missed it.

My buddy told me he's doing an LN tour, and I've seen one user on here and I think another person say he's playing MSG.

There's some recent precedence. What would've been Kanye in 2016 coming back in September for Saint Pablo, Travis came back in November 2018, and Tyler came back last September

Pretty hilarious that this lineup still isn’t out yet
I'm now in full tin foil hat mode over the fact that neither this, Boston Calling, nor Firefly have officially published their lineups - 3 east coast fests that would typically have their lineups out, by now. It must be the same thing/person/act holding all 3 up.

that thing about rage wanting to release all their tour dates at the same time is looking more credible every day.
