garageland I dig that. I normally drank licka but I'd be happy to enjoy a beer with you during this. Gonna be sexy. We should all meet up for some shows or brunch or something. I'm hearing that one of the places we congregated for food once is going to be more involved this year. We'll see, though.

Could this be the new venue? Did they announce that yet?
I'm always in for food and drink. We might even convince Dave Maynar to make an appearance, too.

Oh yeah. I will be around for sure even if I am not into the festival.

Are there any candidates for this new venue?
I'm coming all the way from West Coast, I'm sure Dave Maynar would come too.
I'd guess the Standard... locally she's playing a room that holds 250...
It would make sense. I feel like she played or is playing U Street in DC which is terribly small. I think it may be more well received in that space, too. This is the time of year I start stressing about capacity though. So I'm trying to think positive.
From the looks of it, Fri & Sat have 35 and Thu & Sun have 16 acts. I thought Sunday would have more acts than 16, but couldn't find much data on previous years, so can't compare.
Thu: Damo Suzuki Network, 75 Dollar Bill, Maurice Louca, Sarah Davachi, Gunn-Truscinski Duo
Fri: Patti Smith, Efterklang, Fennesz, Sudan Archives, Sound for Andy Warhol's Kiss, Mdou Moctar, Caterina Barbieri, Nadah El Shazly, Fred Lane, Josephine Foster, Astrid Sonne
Sat: Terry & Gyan Riley, Annette Peacock, Tindersticks, múm, Saul Williams, Shabaka and the Ancestors, Jaimie Branch, Tamino
Sun: Thundercat, The Necks, A Winged Victory for the Sullen, Joshua Abrams, Nivhek, Bell Orchestre
Schedule is not out until late Feb/early Mar, so I can only hope to see the most of the above with minimum conflicts.

Too much typing but add Brotzmann and Brotzmann/Cyrille duo sets and this is me.

I believe there were around 19 acts on Sunday last year.
With the amount of tickets they sold this year, I'm kinda surprised they haven't released the rest of the lineup (film, installations, The Pilot Light etc) yet. They keep saying "soon", but I'm kinda over it.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

Not even gonna lie. I had to put boner pants on at the idea of Damo Suzuki vs. Ceramic Dog.
If I understood correctly, these are not The Pilot Light additions either. So more should be on the way, I guess!
This feels like filling the gaps in the schedule. I'm feeling like news will be quick from here on out. We're like 6 weeks out and still a bunch to announce.
I'm feeling like 12 Hour Drone is taking a hiatus.

We have to be getting close to an actual schedule reveal, right? I'm starting to get antsy! While the Damo Suzuki (from CAN) vs. Ceramic Dog announcement is fantastic, I'm even more excited about the addition of Phill Niblock. Finally sat down with Kim Myhr's "You | Me"... that's going to be a must see. Also, did we lose Sokratis Sinopoulos from the line-up?
