Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Also, I was #19 in line for Lyte for 3 days at the time I signed up and still sitting at #4. I sort of expected to move a little faster at first than that (from people who may have double purchased at on sale).
I’m obviously not worried, but I do find the process interesting.
Looks like we can cross Dispatch off the list of potentials again. Red Rocks show the same weekend.
They play Red Rocks on Thursday so it doesn't rule them out completely. Last year, I'm With Her were scheduled at Newport on Friday and Red Rocks on Sunday, although their Red Rocks show ended up being moved due to John Prine's illness.
I have a conspiracy theory that there are 500 tickets they don't sell through public on sale and trickle release through Lyte. Thereby reinforcing people to use Lyte as the platform for trying to buy/sell after market tickets. haha

Newport Festivals Foundation has made a donation on behalf of Black Pumas to Kids In A New Groove to help provide central Texas youth in foster care with free, weekly in-home music lessons, instruments, and mentorship.
Quote from Black Pumas:
We have been trying to find a way to support Kids in a New Groove for a long time but due to our intense touring session that proved to be problematic. We were thrilled that Newport Festival Foundation has made a donation to this very important organization possible. We thank Kids in a New Groove for all their dedication to music education in Austin, TX.
One of the members, Adrian Quesada, was in Glorietta. With Deer Tick playing and a Delta Spirit reunion likely, expect MLV to be all over the place again this year, which is awesome.

2 for 2 in Bingo. I think that's already more than I got last year.
I loved the Black Pumas album when I listened to it last year but didn't listen to it much outside of the first listen. HOWEVER, the song OCT 33 remained in my playlist all year long. That song is so damn smooth... reminds me a lot of Son Little.
Upcoming Shows: August 7: Green Day/Smashing Pumpkins/Rancid/The Linda Lindas August 30: Waxahatchee/Snail Mail/Tim Heidecker September 17: Pearl Jam/Glen Hansard September 24: Idles/English Teacher
I didn't make a bingo card this year, but I want it on record that I predict Megafaun to re-unite this year for either the fest, an after-party, or both. I also predict Sylvan Esso to do one of their WITH shows.

Agree with the WITH since it popped up on Roo. Not sure about faun.

Phil posted them rehearsing on his story a couple weeks ago and posted a photo of them from 2010 on his story today

Bring in Andrew Stockdale to do a Wolfmother acoustic set in the Harbor stage. Won't happen this year but I think this will be what I repeatedly request in the coming years.
