Yes he said that. But then someone asked if this was a wink wink. He said no it wasnt. Came back a few days later with another message saying "This is officially a wink wink". The messages are still there.
Reading another pro board felt like being in an episode of a kids tv show I saw growing up where they went to an alternate universe where everything was the same but evil
im definitely on board with a LB booking. Might be the most obscure and fun act theyve booked in a long time. Just everything surrounding this feels weird.
Lolla happening in July at all feels weird, so I'm just going with the rest of it.

Lol not wrong here, lets just be happy we are supposedly having the fest this year. Bring on Limp -> Post lol, Id love if Fred came out with Post.
In 2019 he said The Black Keys were "in play", and they ended up touring for the first time in like 5 years shortly after Lolla. That's hardly a swing and a miss.

That's fair, although I never took that as they were booked 100%. It's also worth mentioning TBK were announced for Woodstock that year and ended up cancelling (before the fest itself cancelled), because they didn't want their first show back to be a festival - it's at least possible they did the same to Lolla.
He also mentions Modest Mouse as being available, so he clearly had info on that tour. He's a long time boarder and you don't have to read the entire board to figure exactly who/what his source is and that's its obviously credible.
As someone who has gone to Lolla twice in the last five years, I can't describe how bizarre I find the idea of the current day Lolla crowd + Journey & Limp Bizkit. Even the NHL Hitz crowd has outgrown Lolla
It's going to be a weird year for festival lineups in general, but I think Lolla was going to make a shift in booking no matter what with declining ticket sales the last couple of years. It makes sense for them to try and cater to an older demographic's entertainment dollars.

Nobody should believe that guy. He once told me he had tickets to a sold out Pearl Jam show to sell me, and when I went to the venue to do the exchange and couldn’t find him, he sent me a text that said “Enjoy the show, here’s your ticket you little grunge bitch” with a picture of his ass

This is why Ive only ever gone single days. One day every 7-8 years is plenty lol
yeah I don't really get that either, I like both white claw and Limp Bizkit but I think that's a fairly small venn diagram
My association with White Claw is the spring break crowd that gets sloshed, smashes cans on their heads, and leaves their garbage all over the beach. Seems like a crew that listens to Nookie and White Iverson. I’m totally willing to concede that I’m the weird one here. I haven’t drank in almost a decade.
This is the same festival that once booked D'Angelo & The Vanguard and The Chemical Brothers. IN THE SAME YEAR.
not to mention the one that inexplicably booked Jamiroquai on a lineup that had virtually nothing else to appease fans of them. Like, I wish they’d at least do *one* screwy thing. Or at least book a rapper!
I don’t know if LN is in charge of it. There’s no Live Nation branding anywhere on the NCMF site but there is a company named Collectiv Presents which has been putting on a bunch of drive-in shows. I don’t know if they’re part of LN or something.
