Well bully for you then. Although I don’t think the cops and Paul Ryans of the world have quite co-opted Rage in the same way white Republican boomers have Bruce.
If he wasn't already, the Buffyverse has probably ended Joss Whedon. He might still work as a screenwriter but I can't imagine anyone letting him do much else.
Two things: First, my heart is breaking over Joss Whedon. Y'all know I'm a HUGE Buffy nerd and was a big Whedon fan. The article I read today about him thinking being mean to women is hilarious and making a female writer cry twice in one meeting and bragging about it is bullying 101. I've always noticed only a few females have followed him from different projects and always wondered why. I knew he played favorites but his behaviort is next level douche.
Second, as a HUGE pothead I rarely call it marijuana. Weed, ganja, pot or green is what I usually what I call it.
I always thought it was problematic that Sia would feature Zeigler in videos in ways that were too suggestive or overt, but yeah this is pretty fishy and not normal. I can't think of any examples off the top of my head, but women using young girls as "muses" is a potentially problematic phenomenon that has probably been overlooked by the general public. Grown men with children is definitely a no-go nowadays, thankfully. And I would assume that most people would also raise an eyebrow over a woman with a young male "muse" but this is weird
That article links to an interview with Sia's mom that doesn't mention sleepovers at all. The relevant paragraphs from the Stuff interview are as follows:
"The pair have become close: Ziegler loves going to the musician's house to play with her dogs. "You'd never think she was a celebrity because she's just so humble and sweet and caring."
Melissa says that Sia is very protective of Maddie: "They're like sisters, I love how they snuggle together."
No mention of a sleepover. A 12-year-old girl snuggling with a grown, unrelated woman is very fucking weird, but that Cheatsheet article is taking huge editorial license.
