Hotels were crazy expensive Thursday night so we’re staying at Mandalay night one then Mirage until Monday
Particularly excited for this because I just got back from the jeweler and I have an engagement ring in hand to propose at some point during the trip. (She knows about the ring, but not that it’s ready so early)
Don’t want to do it at the fest as I don’t want our engagement to be associated with what I assume will be a flop of a fest (despite the great lineup) so I’m trying to figure out a good time otherwise

Some non-festival locations I might recommend is top of eiffel tower, skybar at waldorf astoria, or there is also a skybar at Mandalay Bay with an outdoor patio area with an amazing elevated view of the strip.

she picked out the ring last week so she already knows it’s coming
The only thing she doesn’t know is that it’s already sized (they estimated it would be about two weeks). So basically the only way to add some element of surprise is to do it spontaneously.
I was planning on asking a stranger to take a picture of us at some landmark and doing it then. Or maybe at dinner idk
What I’m saying is I appreciate the offer to take a picture but I won’t know it’s happening until the moment is right
