Thoughts on first day. Cool little fest, and everything we saw was great. The production has been on point, sans UMO where the video feed was on a one second delay. Sophie’s set was awesome in the little dome. The fest is crazy undersold, but I expect there to be more people here today with the Foos playing.
I did the event and enjoyed a few of the bands however my advice to anyone wanting to buy VIP level tickets, that it’s a waste of time and money due to this event is primarily set up so Amazon can provide a freebie to its attendees that are going to the certification event just prior to the show. There truly is no VIP experience and the staff inside are confused and have no idea the difference in levels and you have to demand that you get a better seating location for the amount of money you are spending to see this event. Based on other VIP shows I’ve paid for there truly is no value spending that type of money for this event. I will never do a Intersect event again Due to the hassles we went through just to get a decent viewing of the bands based on the out rages amount of money we spent to see them. If you want to enjoy a fun VIP event there are many in the US that are set up for the event versus for a corporation that is doing this based on a freebie for attendees to something that has nothing to do with music

lol at creating an account on a Bonnaroo message board to post this
They told you up front what you were getting. most of us paid $99 for this event. If you honestly thought paying an additional $500 would be worth it for, essentially, a viewing area, that’s on you
a lot of elements, including the acts, experiences, venue, cheap resales, all the controversy and complaints - sound like this picked up where Day For Night left off. It probably won't be given another year, so no need to worry about getting swindled on VIP again.
This was a very nice festival with great production and nice details, but it was undersold. Among the sets I've seen, Anderson .Paak was the most crowded one - even more than Foo Fighters.
My favorite sets were Jamie xx, SOPHIE, and Foo Fighters (my first time seeing them).
I'd go again next year, if they have a similar lineup and cheap tickets.

Amazon has the money to burn and they probably will learn to roll things out better. Just assuming AWS putting a fest on would get people there is a big no. Fests in december just arent the best thing either. The talent is around, but people have to have money and a willingness to travel if thats the case.
And yeah, if Day For Night had a fat ass budget, this is how it would be at least.
I bet if it returns next year they'll roll in passes in a package with the AWS conference. A couple of my coworkers attended the conference (but not the fest) on my company's dime and tickets for that are already super expensive

Posted earlier that I had won $1500 the first night. Well... that dwindled by Sunday
But our flight got delayed today by a half hour, so I sat down to play some blackjack before leaving for the airport—didn’t lose for like 20+ hands in a row while raising my bet each time and left the table with $2400 more than I started
Hasn’t been enough talk about how incredible Kacey was imo. Headliner caliber performance for sure.
She was amazing as always and handled the video issues well. My only complaint about her and the fest was they made her drone show immediately before her performance. After Beck ended I moved way up and ended up in the 3rd row for her. They should have had her drone show earlier like the one on Saturday so that everyone waiting for her set could see it too.
