Tim Blake Nelson is awesome in many things and I loved that he got a spotlight episode this past week. Loved his backstory and the connection to mirrors that traumatized him. Funny how he's not as good at reading people as he acts/believes himself to be. He got fooled by that woman pretty easily. His world was just blown up. Crazy stuff.
next week looks like a real trip. Angela experiencing her granddads memories? Should be good.

Reminded me of International Assassin from The Leftovers. I loved that shit, so expectations are high.
But, like, Angela has to be playing right into Trieu's hands right? She knows the secret AND let her just take off? If everything is playing out according to plan, what/who is the wild card? Mirror Guy??

Trieu seems to know that Manhattan is on earth but it's not clear she knows that Angela knows. Seemed like she wanted to drop that bombshell but couldn't.
Looking Glass is likely going to save Laurie Blake considering we don't know where he is and one of the 7th Kavalry members dead in his home is missing a mask. So he'll possibly be infiltrating them and people pointed out that Laurie likely planned on being caught (she gave Judd's wife a ton of time to get that trap door to work so that seems like she was waiting for it) once she knew that Looking Glass wasn't dead and survived the attack.

Oh Trieu knows, hence the 'total amnesia is super duper rare' comment. Plus she probably somehow sees the future (ie knowing when the meteor would hit the farm). Idk of LG going undercover or Laurie's presence is profound enough to reshape the future. I'm just afraid we are going to get a 'bad/good guy cheats/saves the world and noone else is smart enough to thwart him/her' again. Maybe V-man since he isn't supposed to escape...

That doesn't mean she knows the future. She could have been alerted somehow or it's part of some plan that we don't know full details of yet. Or that scene could have taken place in the past...since the show has clearly played with time already (all of Veidts scenes take place at least a year after their previous one).
I'm sorta asking myself this question as I watch the show. I've only seen three episodes (out of order. I've seen one, five, and seven lol..)
The music is so on-the-nose to me. I'm probably pre-disposed to dislike the show, based on what I perceive its politics to be and what Alan Moore (who is no doubt a surly MF) has had to say about it.
I'm as big a NIN fan as anybody on here, but Life on Mars?? Come on.
Question for those who watched it, is the Watchmen movie good?
It’s ok. Takes all the style from the graphic novel, but missed a lot of the nuance, characterization and themes. The ending diverges from the graphic novel as well. Some prefer the movie ending, but I think it’s nonsensical.

I really enjoyed watching the super long directors/extended cut a little while ago. I don't know the original source material as well so my main reference point is the movie. I really liked it and it helped fill in a lot of the characters and roles that play a part in the show
