Never thought I'd see the day where I see someone using their college GPA to justify their shitty opinions on inforoo. Definitely an "inforoo hall of fame/shame" moment.
Anyways, I'm glad we still have King Gizz. I'm assuming we'll get the announcement that this fest is happening in October before 2020 is over.
Deathfest is always on the brink of collapse, it's so niche, and they've already scaled it down more than once iirc
Haven't been to Deathfest in 10 years but 2020 was the year I was gonna go back. Shame.
I feel they have a chance of surviving because they have the trust of their bands. They will be able to barter deals to package them with their sister festivals in Canada and Europe. They realistically can't make it happen this year because they have to rely on inside stages. They don't have the luxury of solely continuing as just an outdoor festival unless they completely restructure the festival and location. It's good to see they are so transparent about what's happening.

So I hadnt looked this up until someone mentioned the weather in the Roo thread but I had no idea that October in Palm Springs is hot as shit. Average high is 95 degrees

It can be, but its not a guarantee of that kind of weather. The first Coachella was hot as shit though. GV lucked out with Festival 8 and Desert Trip having nice temps. It could rain for all we know. Might just be really windy since its santa ana season.
It's from an email promoting HeadCount. You probably only got it if you did the headcount thing. Then the email I got today had a separate survey that enters you to get VIP tickets and asks who you want to play. I heavily stressed how important it was they retain Frank and Rage

Not directly related to Coachella but Dan + Shay have Oct. 15th & 16th open in the area for Stagecoach which further suggests the first two October weekends(1-3 & 8-10) for Coachella and the third weekend (15-17) for Stagecoach.
It is kinda nice to come to this website to talk about real music festivals instead of complain about how much things suck right now and argue with internet strangers about Aphex Twin ever playing bonnaroo
Hyatt Palm Springs is available for regular prices during the rumored rescheduled dates.
Thanks! Is it a bit too far? I do see it is next to the Hilton Palm Springs though and I believe that had a shuttle last time if anyone can confirm or correct me.
Any differences in the VIP and Executive suite for anyone that has stayed?
Is Palm Springs too far? Its up to you if youre driving each day. Remember they are slowly but surely eliminating the prking at the festival each year anyway. If you shuttle it shouldnt be too terrible. And the only thing will be getting late night food since you cant detour too much and all thats open at that hour in Palm Springs will be the McDonalds, Dominos and Jack In the Box.
But does The Hyatt let you reserve your room and pay zero up front? Thats the big problem with hotels right now.
