This is why my phone rang from a weird number twice today? 😂🤣
The UK is trying some greedy tactic though. Theyre willing to cut down isolation time if you pay for a covid test when you enter the country from a place that isnt on their clearance list. If you get a negative result you are released after 5 days. That would be on top of likely paying for a test before you even flew most likely.
The government ( state, local, federal ) is going to have to come up with a way that you cant fake your vaccination status. Im sure theres gonna be black market fuckery to come but still.

Antbibody test checkpoints may work
Would be pretty funny if they added those checkpoints like they did with the extra wristband ones so they could weed out the fakes. Cant wait for the new coachella sneak in youtube videos.
Yeah there was a thing with Sigur Ros saying they got booked for Oct 2021 right? Gorillaz would be interesting and are they gonna play the co headliner game again?

I'm sure 2010 me would've been THRILLED to see Gorillaz, but I haven't felt any real enthusiasm for seeing them or listening to their music in quite a while.

I didn't care for Humanz, but the tour they did for that album knocked my socks off. WAY better than 2010.

Figured Billie Eilish was out since she was probably still due to play her postponed LA dates but now her whole tour is officially cancelled. Probably part of the reason why Mad Cool couldn't announce her yet but I guess she's on the table now for Coachella too.
Also, with BTS finally receiving mainstream attention (two songs on the top five of the Billboard Hot 100), I could see Coachella booking them. A BTS/Billie/Frank Ocean or Travis Scott headline trio would do very well.
Bunny is headline or bust at this point. Rosalia just isn't there, she's getting traction but most of her most popular work is on features. But hindsight 2019 had such a stacked undercard, so many future headliner or sub caliber acts scattered through the undercard

I feel Coachella has historically stacked their lineup with future headliners. They're pretty good staying on the cutting-edge. Now excuse me, Goldenvoice owes me a check for this sponsored post.

Thanks for riding off things Ive been saying for over a year. Coachella usually gets in before the explosion but seemingly couldnt this time. And even before their first insane stadium tour they were headline or nothing with Coachella. So booking Blackpink and then Bigbang was to soften the festival audience up to K Pop.
. If they had BTS and Billie Eilish on one poster, the resale market would be ridiculous and rival the Beyonce year. The major obstacle with BTS is control from their label. Theyre probably going to demand to monetize the webcast, no photos allowed from the crowd, and a way as to not have the audience die in a crush of bodies. Like an almost 3 hour silent slot and even more increased security because there will be an influx of people that would attempt to jump the fence. Or even allot some tickets to their fan club so they had a chance to get one cause I cannot imagine an onsale with the knowledge of BTS at Coachella without thousands of fb posts and tweets demanding to know why they couldnt get a ticket or why there werent single day tickets or extra ultra vip with soundcheck just for them.
So now ya’ll wanna say RATM, Billie Eilish and BTS for octoberchella, ok.
