With all the PTO I'm collecting this year, at this rate, I'd be able to hit up every festival next year.
I've been thinking this too. At this rate I doubt I take any days this year, so that leaves 36 days to go crazy.
Nice poster, TME. I know Coachella will likely continue the business techno route, but nice to see ladies representing new and exciting sounds of house and techno (HAAi, Park Hye Jen, Shanti Celeste and Kelly Lee Owens) on your mock. I hope they don't fuck the Yuma up as bad as they did on the planned Sunday for this year.
Your guy's PTO rolls over into the next year? Lucky, we gotta cash ours out if we don't use it all by the end of the year.

I work for a small company with pretty lax policies. I would hope other companies would add exceptions to rollover policies given the circumstances.
Let's not disrespect Hayley Williams like that lol. But as much as I'd like her to play Coachella, I think it's more likely that Paramore does a one off at Coachella in the middle of Hayley's solo tour. (Since they were allegedly planning a Parahoy voyage next year after her solo tour, but that scheduling is all messed up now)
I'd love this line up though, billing a bit wonky but I'm for it!
Thats probably about where she could be. Top 3rd or end of 2nd line, just depends. And I would say Paramore finally plays when they decide to make another album. Considering her tour is a massive underplay at the moment she likely ends up in 5k - 6k cap venues on her second run through of shows.

Hayley did confirm another Pmore album and Parahoy voyage in an interview earlier this year, but yeah everything is getting pushed back now. But yeah surprised she didn't book The Greek/Shrine/Palladium type venues initially, she could easily sell those out, if not a half bowl capacity Forum show. Maybe just wanted more intimate settings. Man I miss shows

She did want smaller settings, but we’ll see how it pans out. And theyre not going anywhere. Its weird to think the band is all in their early 30’s still so theyve got a couple more in em for sure. But just slowing down might be their course. 4 years in between releases last time, this could be 5.

The longer their hiatus, the bigger chance their "reunion" warrants Friday headliner status so there's that lol. Weird thing about PFA is it's 2/3 Paramore since Taylor York produced the entire album. And even Zac helped a couple songs and drummed on Crystal Clear. Biggest difference, to me, were the lyrics. Only a couple tracks like Sugar On The Rim, Sudden Desire would be way left for Pmore in terms of sound lol.
Have not checked in for a bit, does this rumor have legs?
Only one poster who claimed that they heard such a rumor, don’t know how legit it is
Yeah I'm really curious about this one. I have a weekend 2 ticket but Frank is a must. unless they pulled a miracle and got Daft Punk, i'm sticking with whichever weekend he plays.
So if this holds true (and if I understand this correctly) we’ll have a Coachella every six months temporarily (Apr ‘21, Oct ‘21, Apr ‘22)
They would skip April. If they were just going to have it in April, I think there wouldve been more consensus thats what was going to happen, when it seems that its all just going to October instead.

I wonder how Airbnb refunds will be in October cause Coachella May be moving but that county might not be in a state of emergency so they would be in no situation to have to refund you. (I’m no lawyer don’t quote me on that)

Likely have to make exceptions and I dont think Airbnb wants to get into that kind of a shitstorm with hundreds of reservations for a specific event needing to be moved because of the pandemic.

I would hope they loosened up their cancellation policy.
When I tried to cancel my airbnb in Austin for ACL cause of my Father dying they had me send a copy of his death certificate to them before they would refund me. was not thrilled with that.
And yeah, gimme my cubicles. Itll be interesting if they even let them do it. Airbnb people will get on it but I think Hotels will have to have some “mercy” in this regard.
You mean as in hotels will transfer bookings to the new dates? That'd be intriguing.
More that Hotels shouldnt be given time to “adjust” their rates to a large event. We already have to deal with searching endlessly online to get a decent hotel rate a year in advance. Like what gives Motel 6 the right to charge $400 a night for a shitty room, when their whole deal is being about value.
We’ve had this discussion time and again that if hotels were a lot more reasonable in price, then they wouldnt have problems getting a sell out. For the group of people that legit wait for the line up before booking any plans, or just joe schmo seeing the announcement in January and thinking they wanna go, isnt the hotel sticker shock a big turn off? The answer is Yes. Of course hotels want to cash in on those 3 weekends of the year in Indio, but they can afford to charge less and keep people happier rather than being forced to overpay for shitty accommodations because thats all thats left.
