Cincinnati is a very cool town just visually/to drive through. Haven't spent much time in the Nasty proper, but got some family there, and it's basically in Kentucky. You drive through that valley and WHAM! there's a whole football stadium. All the buildings look older than America.
that was a fun end of the season. a little bittersweet since this was the first east coast bowl game I have missed since before I was a freshman, but such a great year

Man growing up my family used to drive from Memphis to Detroit for the Christmas holidays. As a kid a big highlight of the drive was hitting cincy and seeing the stadium.
Really sad the bearcats couldn't hold on to beat the bulldogs. UGA is a team I'll hate forever because I have vivid memories of grown men barking at me on the street. Buncha weird motherquackers.
Edit: geez my phone autocorrected "vivid" to "covid". This year already sucks

oh yeah the fans are terrible. I have to live here. It’s mostly just a bunch of smug white kids who don’t wear masks and openly say racist stuff on the streets of downtown.
Just yesterday my girlfriend heard a guy loudly call Warnock a racial slur with no sense of shame.
As far as SEC teams, I hate Georgia the middlest. So that's something.
When I went to gainesville they caught me with a flask going into the stadium, so they revoked my ticket. Then arrested me for trespassing for being on stadium grounds without a ticket.
There's a whole jail/processing center in the swamp.

Went to Death Valley as a Kentucky fan. Was too chickenshit to wear blue. But the LSU fans were pretty nice to the people who did, from what I saw. If we were more of a threat, it might have been a different story.
Were you singled out for wearing team colors or anything like that?

When I went to Gainesville, I was the last Vol student in the third row behind the bench, before a bunch of Gator fans. I made friends with the Gator dude sitting next to me, probably 10 years older than me, I was like 25 at the time. The Gator fan woman behind me started talking trash, and then started hitting me in the head. I took it in stride, and because I had made friends with the Gator dude, he got her thrown in that jail. It was great.
We lost 59-20 and I'm pretty sure that's the game that catapulted Tebow to the Heisman.

Everyone in the jail/processing area was wearing orange. There was only one florida fan (blue shirt with the gator) and he was very obviously on lots of drugs. Otherwise it's at least a dozen tennessee fans

Haha, holy shit, that was the game I was at! Eric Berry (he so scary)
They let me out of jail with a 'warning' and said I was no longer welcome in ben hill griffin stadium. I spent the rest of the day with some generous gators who fed me and beer'd me and let me chill in the shade of their RV.
