When the child started showing symptoms. Of course, if it is like my sisters school district, they won't tell you that.
Yeah it’s all a bunch of bullshit. I guess atm they’re going with if the parents says they can tell or not. 🤷🏻♀️ They started showing symptoms at the very end of the day yesterday, so just about 24 hours.
I know it's easier said than done, but try to stay calm. My sister got it, but she was not boosted. We were around her a full week during Christmas. Stayed at her house. Ate every meal with her. Me nor my husband got it. We are boosted. We got a PCR test 5 days after leaving her house.
Edit-the fact that they are Trumpers and I didn't kill them is the real miracle.

I’m just so tired of being scared all the time. 😭
I know. We all are. I'm so sorry you are going through this BS.

Someone I know got a large blood clot two days after getting the Moderna booster. Healthy 20 year old with no preexisting conditions, their arm started turning blue and thankfully went to the hospital in time.

Seeing all the drama with this Novak Djokovic case (I think he's an idiot and got what deserved) has me wondering just how many situations like this are happening behind the scenes with music festival booking.

My significant others family has been mostly anti vax except her nurse sister. We had to do some serious convincing to get mother in law on board for shots. She is a teacher. We eat dinner with her every night. She got her booster Thursday and has been sick since and tested positive tonight. Now the family group chat is filled with “the booster gave her Covid” talk which is not great. Thankfully we haven’t seen her for a couple days but this will not make my life easier.
Had a weird sickness last week. Started running a slight fever, body aches, and dull head ache around Wednesday. Tested negative for Covid Thursday and Friday.
Everytime I took Ibuprofen the fever went down. With out it it hovered at or just below 101. Fever finally gave up Saturday and I've been fine since.

flu? my wife was running a 101 fever weekend before last, symptoms the same as yours. tested negative for covid and the flu, but they said it was too early to be sure of the tests when she got tested.
they gave her a prescription for that flu pill (tamiflu? the one that costs $40) and said if that made her better it was probably flu. she took it and within 4 hours her fever was gone. so i think it was the flu.

Maybe it was and symptoms werent bad because I got the flu shot? I figured I would have coughed or sneezed or something with the flu though.
Either way, I think it was the most convenient sick I've been, if that's a thing. Sick enough to stay home, but not so sick I wasnt able to get things done around the house, like take down the Christmas lights and almost finished the Halo battle pass (6 more levels to go).

You lucky. That shit's $150 retail.
they gave us some sort of coupon that said it would be as low as $30, ended up being $40.
Went to see The War on Drugs tonight and it was insane how many people wore a mask while walking around the venue but took it off once they were seated. People are dumb

My wife teaches yoga, and she’s seen lots of something similar - people who wear their mask to the class, but take it off once they get on their mat, because that makes total sense.

thats essentially the indoor restaurant policy for this country even in places that care about covid like NYC SF and DC
I hate that shit. thejeremy does security for Gasa Gasa (a small music venue) and he constantly has to get on people to put their masks back on once they are sitting. But I understand why people do, they are drinking and NOLA policy is when you are eating or drinking inside you can be maskless. So fucking dumb, it's why I don't go to bars or restaurants. On that note, I do NOT get the yoga in a studio without a mask thought process though. Making it to the mat might be the hardest part, but you are still inside and with others. Put your mask back on. Plus with yoga it is all about moving with the breath and centering yourself. Like you are breathing even DEEPER! WTF. Don't go to a studio practice at home you fucking assholes. Sorry. Yeah. I hate this timeline.
