Me too. My girlfriend doesn't quite know where to go, if she should stay and help and hope she doesn't get it, or go and leave me. My symptoms aren't TOO bad, but I have a fever and I feel so tired and I cough up nothing but air.
EDIT: Leave me to save herself from getting covid, to be clear lol. She doesn't leave for her residency til later this month so she'd be ok. I have to let her do what makes since for her safety too. Damn I wish we lived in a house and she could be safely away from me.
Thanks. GF's going to stay at a friend's place in Queens that is thankfully empty til the weekend. By then hopefully I'll have kicked this thing. Of course if she becomes symptomatic she'll come back.

I've had a tickle in my throat since I woke up. FML. We'll see what happens tomorrow I guess.
I don't know how effective the rapid tests are at detecting infections at their earliest stages. I actually tested negative when I woke up 12 days ago with a splitting headache, but tested positive later that night after I got a fever.
(BTW, apparently the degree of redness of that second line indicates how much of the virus you have in you. When I tested five days in, the line was bright red. When I next tested 10 days in, the line was a very faded pink. This morning, on the 12th day, it took me at least half a minute to see the faintest line imaginable while holding the strip directly under a lamp. Right now, I no longer feel sick, except for some occasional post-nasal drip and a bit of coughing inspired by that drip. If I wasn't doing testing, I'd consider myself fully healed by now.)

They were the most effective with the first strain. These new omicron offshoot suck ass.
You're so thoughtful! Last night was a bitch - big fever and my throat was on fire - but today is so far a little more manageable. I know people who've had it worse, and thankfully my GF is still symptom-free and safely away from me. I am thriving on a diet of jello, tea, and soup. THRIVING.

You do get the say right now, but the frosts and rains seem to taste better to me. Here's a list of all of them if by chance any of them don't match up to the colors. I prefer the white ones, but that's me (Glacier Frost Cherry).
