If LD wasn’t the doctor, the real doctor would have known LD was lying, which would have made Jaz seem more likely to be telling the truth. In that case, it definitely seems like the doctor should have used the save on Jaz believing Jaz was the inspector.
That didn’t happen, so it seems more likely that LD was the real doctor.
And if LD was the doctor, Jaz was definitely lying about being the inspector (which he was).
You are drastically oversimplifying. It wouldn’t just be one day. You confuse the town out of the gate and spin that into confusion the whole game. If you can discredit me, it casts doubt on everything I’ve said, particularly that you’re guilty. If I live into day 3, I may or may not have a third name, and you extend that confusion to whatever information I have then. You are trying to use the confusion against me to diffuse me as a threat. It’s clearly working on at least some people so maybe it’s not such a bad strategy.

I feel like if mafia actually believed you then we wouldn't be at a standstill to where Im more in danger of being lynched than you. If mafia really wanted to kill you, theyd try to lynch you today. No, I absolutely did not say that.
I said all four of the people voting for me can’t be mafia. I said that, at most, three of them can, but since Jaz was probably mafia, it’s more likely that two of the people voting for me are mafia. (In other words, I absolutely believe mafia is trying to lynch me today with both of the remaining mafia members voting for me). It’s also possible that only you are voting for me and the other mafia member is hiding among the people voting for you as a distancing move.

It's also highly likely that the doctor just saw it as a coin flip when deciding who to save. I think you're making this too simple. Not to mention the doctor might've seen jaz inspector as just trying to save himself since he was in danger and maybe decided to believe the person that wasn't in danger. I don't think LD ever explicitly said he was doctor and was just making a sarcastic comment.
I'm new to inforoo mafia, but not mafia in general. Jaz made mistakes early in the game that exposed him, and I missed the inspector read on him. With a doctor in the game, I want everyone to be more open with what they have, because it will give the doctor more power.
Lying about your role doesn't always equate to being mafia. The real doctor mightve not even cared since LD was dead anyway.

I guess im just trying to say that with a faking doctor thats dead anyway the only real goal is to guess who is the real inspector. If Im not mistaken, LD has faked inspector as town before and since he was about to be lynched maybe he was just trying a last ditch effort to save his skin, regardless of role. A doctor in that position could just completely throw that away since LD is dead anyway.
Now a reason to choose to save NBF over Jaz is that NBF named 2 players whereas Jaz only shared one, and it happened to be the person he was up against. So I think Jaz inspector looked more like self-preservation at the time whereas NBF didn't because NBF didnt reeaalllyyy need to reveal then. And if NBF was inspector and was whacked then 2 people are confirmed. Whereas if Jaz is inspector and is whacked then nothing is really gained. The name we received from Jaz was already dead. Either way a role is more than likely confirmed, and is thsi scenario- keeping the inspector that has the chance to confirm a 3rd mafia is better than the one that might get a 2nd maybe

There are presumably two mafia members left right now. One of them is Silver Surfer, which I’ve already said.
If they thought I wasn’t likely to identify the third (which I apparently wasn’t since I didn’t), why not leave me alive to make me look guilty and cast doubt on my claim about Silver Surfer and leave a question mark about whether Jaz was the inspector or mafia? If they’d left Jaz alive, wouldn’t he kind of have been in a worse position than I am now? Why not sacrifice him and put me in the position of having to explain myself?

All of the people currently voting for me can’t be mafia so I just want to be on record to say to those people - you’re making a mistake. The mafia knew that people would think I was lying if they left me alive and some of you are doing exactly what they want. I hope you remember that later.
The reality is, in this game town has to at points hedge their bets and go with a position they know might end up being wrong/foolish but feels like the better move than its alternative, whether by way of gut feeling, math/logic, or some combo of the two.
It sucks when at the game's end, some townsfolk realize they made the wrong move. But it is the nature of the game. And this has been a weird series of events D1 & 2, to say the least. I've gone back and forth on what I believe a few times now, and i'm sorry to fellow town if that comes off as wishy-washy, but this has been a mindfuck.
I'll admit you (NBF) have raised some pretty critical points re: the Doctor role, especially the question of, "if the Doctor wasn't LD but someone else, who used their save on NBF last night, that would mean they thought Jaz was lying and NBF is the real Inspector" when honestly that doesn't make much sense since they'd know LD was lying about his Doctor role, so why would they believe the Inspector who wasn't calling LD out on being mafia?
Is there a world in which the Doctor tried to save someone besides Jaz *or* NBF? (I don't think there is but am curious if anyone else can perceive a scenario in which that would happen)
