i cant imagine choosing, not the Beatles, but Lennon and Ono, over a day of Radiohead, Hot Chip, Lorde, J Dilla, James Blake and everything else on that Friday. we just got different mindsets man.
John Lennon is one of the most influential musicians of all time with a solid body of work. And is dead. Some of us have seen Radiohead multiple times, Lorde will probably tour off and on for the next decade plus.

How often do you listen to a plastic ono band record?
Have you seen the best possible Radiohead performance before?
How would I know? I'm simply saying that the option to see Lennon over an amazing band I've seen multiple times and can see again multiple times probably is an easy choice for me personally.
Let's face it, none of us are seeing ANY concerts any time soon anyway. So that argument is kinda lame
Its not lame. I was supposed to go see Prince, who is my favorite artist of all time and I hadnt seen before, in 2015 in DC and something came up and I had to miss the show. I think about missing that show all the time.
Sure we will miss out on a year or two of music but you just simply cant see dead artists.

Yes but Prince's value doesn't come from being dead. Prince's value comes from being a great performer with a great discog

That is where most of the value comes from but there is extra value in that I cant see him anymore.

Okay but we can't see anyone anymore right now
Sure. I dont agree with the Lennon & Ono over Radiohead take, but I will see Radiohead again and most likely multiple times even though I cant right now.

His value is increased by being dead and knowing that in this fantasy world is the only way you will ever be able to see him.
