Not going to be clinical and go too deep into schedules this round, building my notions off the poster and my perceptions from there. I try my best to adjust for my own taste and age bias as I go.
Chandler Bing / Rummy - Billie, Radiohead, Paul Simon - all powerhouses, and should sell tickets. I don’t know if the rest of the lineup grabs me at all. Friday is kinda terrible for what I enjoy - but I know there’s obviously an audience for these acts. I think you have to rely on the good HL picks to make this work. VieuxCareen / cdevaney - I hate Drake, and I still want to go to this fest. Sunday is the only day I’d see Jack White at this point. There are a few ordering of the billing that I don’t love but it makes sense looking at the schedule. Wish NIN could be LN again but all your choices make sense with your lineup.
I guess the whole realism part of the draft can go straight in the bin if we're gonna judge line ups like this. No points, no remarks or constructive critisicm, just three sentences that's it.

I wholeheartedly don't apologize for not having enough time or energy to build a ranking system in the first round. Should I raise the fact that I said that the realism of your top drives me to rate you higher than others or do you need a goddamn point system to feel better? Goddamn it not all of us have the energy to setup a fucking ranking system in round 1. Don't count my vote if you are so pissed off about me taking the poster first as a way of figuring out if the value of the fest I'm judging which includes whether I'd go to it but not exclusively.

No need to lash out like that, I just want a little bit more insight in what you think of our line up and what made you decide to vote for cdev/vieux instead of us? Based on those three sentences I litteraly cannot tell why and it seemed like you were mostly judging based on your own taste. If you think ours is one of the more realistic ones, then why didn't you mention that? I'm not pissed or anything, I just wanna know why. The last thing you mention is completely valid. Everyone has their own way of judging these things, just wish it was a little bit more seperated (quality vs realism) and why.

I guess this matchup is tied for me score-wise, so I'm going to give the win to Dad Dog / Cap'n Mac because theirs is just ridiculously good for my tastes. Also I think both these lineups have super strong rap lineups, which majority of other teams are really lacking
Sales/Success: I think this lineup would raise the average age of attendees for Bonnaroo by 10 years, but would still sell really well. I think there’s a lot of people that haven’t been to Roo in nearly a decade that would come back. This is like a 2009 lineup on acid. I would buy my ticket in a second, but I think you’d lose the Vanderbuilt summer break crowd.
Thursday • This day feels very Desert Daze, which I love. I honestly think Roo should book a lot more DD acts, they have a similar spirit. • Love Kikagaku Moyo but I don’t see them coming back to play Thursday • Love the CBGB superjam but that should be late night on a different day • Not sure how I feel about a comedy stage that’s only active on Thursday but I like those comedians (gonna call it a wash since your opponent is using the Which on Thursday)
Friday • Local Natives way too big to open the Which • Santigold opening the Other is weird • PJ Harvey vs Warpaint wtf • I hated the Avett Brothers pick at first, specially because they JUST played. But the idea of them doing a special show at Bonnaroo (The Gleam 1-3) is actually super sick. Realistic because of their deep history with the fest and it’s something new so it feels fresh (conflict with Rodrigo y Gabriela • You convinced me that Danny Elfman is a Bonnaroo act • Kraftwerk -> Tortoise would be a really good late night, but I don’t love the rest. • Nothing that appeals to a young audience besides Tyler and Slowthai, who are great picks
Saturday • Pretty much all your opening acts seem to big to open their respective stages this day • Television vs Dungen wtf • Florence feels like a been there done that. Not sure anyone would care about her new material since she subbed 2015 • Jamiroquai -> Honey Dijon would be sick • Didn’t Joe Russo just play late night last year?
Sunday • Might be too soon for a Kali Uchis return • Perfume Genius playing too early I think • I adore Lionel Richie but that seems like an unnecessary repeat. Although he did say in 2015 “I’ll be back, I’ll see you next time” so that might be enough for me. • Would cry at Residente • Seems too early for a Pearl Jam return. If somehow you would have gotten The Cure or Depeche Mode to close, this would be a legendary lineup. I think they fit the rest of the acts much better
Sales/Success: I think this would sell pretty well but not sell out. I think it’s lacking in the things that separate Bonnaroo from other big fests (jam/folk/bluegrass/americana/comedy/legacy) and in EDM star power which would alienate some people. Feels more like an FYF/Camp Flog lineup that is “too cool” for Bonnaroo. I would buy a ticket in a heartbeat, its amazing for my tastes.
Thursday: • Didn’t know much before going through but it seems like an extremely cool Thursday. • I think this day suffers from being too hip. Feels like most things here would mostly appeal to a Camp Flog type audience • Perpetual Groove is the only act that adds some balance and they’re too old for Thursday
Friday: • Really wanted Mild High Club on our lineup but opening the What is bad placement • I think Princess just played Bonnaroo (assuming it’s the Prince band) • I don’t think people at Bonnaroo would care about the Gallagher brothers, but still, 5pm on the Which feels wrong for Noel • I get your idea of a run of D’Angelo -> Herbie -> Kendrick -> Madlib -> Superjam, and it would be awesome, but I have several issues with the scheduling that other people have already mentioned • Late night is almost entirely electronic • Lots of good stuff going on in the tents but they feel too small • Your Other lineup is cool as hell, but I think you’re missing a big name.
Saturday • Your 3 opening What bands are cool but a bit too much dude Rock n’ Roll feeling • Kacey wouldn’t repeat after 2019, not a headliner. Chicks do nothing for me but I think it would move the needle for a lot of people that go to Bonnaroo • Doja Cat is a great pick • I like the show Dave but I heavily disagree that it warrants a re-booking and huge bump in billing/schedule • Galcher Lustwerk, best pick of your draft • Earthgang -> MBV would be a pretty awesome LN
Sunday • Portugal The Man and Mac Demarco played tents recently, rebooking those with a big bump in billing doesn’t make sense. • GVF, yuck • Young Thug vs Deerhunter vs Petit Biscuit is *chef’s kiss* and should have been Friday when people have more energy.

I really don't have the energy right now. I'm barely keeping my mind together right now, unemployed and confined alone. If you want to devalue all my points trantsgiving. please go ahead. I don't have the energy for this shit right now.

That's alright dude, no worries. It's very time consuming and tiring on it's own, so I understand. No need to devalue your points or anything. Hope you can recharge your batteries a bit and that you may find peace and rest in what is going on in your life right now.
I'm not judging realism for teams based on whether the lineup looks like it could be the actual Bonnaroo 2021 lineup. In my opinion that would be directly in contrast with the other half of the scoring (improving Bonnaroo). To me it makes more sense to judge realism based on:
1) whether acts are actually accessible by Bonnaroo: someone who's only played a could US shows in the last decade would score low here. An act that might not fit the exact typical bonnaroo mold, but still tours America (and not only LA and NYC) can still be realistic for me here. and 2) Price of the act versus draw of the act. If you have to spend a ton of money on one act vs very little on an act that are all equally rare, the one that you must spend a ton of money on is going to be much more unrealistic in my opinion. I'll use Todd/Jortles team as an example here since they're my first round matchup, Aphex Twin costs around a million dollars (headliner money) without having close to the draw to make that booking a sensible one for Bonnaroo. a lot of people have criticized the realism of some of the DJs we have early on the Other, but to me there's an insanely big difference between throwing a DJ a couple grand to open a stage and maybe entertain a few people vs giving an act like AT headliner money to entertain a few people. That's obviously an example using extremes but I kinda view it as a Price/Draw scale.
I think bracket with 16 teams is too much to handle for everyone, and it's easy to miss things. I'll try to think of a different poll/bracket hybrid system for the Coachella draft.

I think people would miss even more in a poll.
Probably not as much with the plan I have in my mind
