Trying to figure out if there's a way I can make my first Bonnaroo ever, then just stay in the state and mosey on over to Knoxville for that September 11 Pitt at Tennessee matchup...

You could def spend a week in tennessee post roo. Nashville is of course great, and chattanooga is kinda close too iirc and that's a cool little city

Oh, I'm not worried about the state. My best friend is building a house in Murfreesboro, so I can do that. The question is work from home/vacation. I have a work meeting Friday, September 10, that I'm not sure will be face to face yet. Hoping it's not.

Turns out Ellie, one of my alters*, is from Atlanta and is a Dawgs fan. She texted one of my friends that she wants to convince me to get some Georgia gear. Which...*sigh* I just hope she's never fronting when we're getting up in the morning
*one of the alternate personalities swimming around in my/our head. 17 y/o, 5'7", big baseball and college sports girl. Somehow a Rockies fan and not a Braves fan? Might've picked that up from a friend when she emerged.
Clemson went through it for about 20 years. It sucks.
It doesn't bother me as much currently bc I'm getting used to it. Like everywhere, Tennessee is a good coach away from starting to turn things around. Heupel isn't giving me strong feelings that he's the guy, but you never know. Clemson is a good example. I'm sure there was a good chunk of people that didn't think Dabo was the guy, but here we are.

Yea, it was like who is Dabo? Never would have expected what its become.
Well that would make the SEC even more powerful. On the one hand it sucks, because I live in the region and hate SEC homers. Conference pride is dumb as shit particularly when you otherwise hate the fuck out of the teams you compete regularly against. But on the other hand, it would be the biggest powerhouse in the history of college sports. No doubt there would have to be some additional compression or possibly regionalization for other teams to compete.

I'm cool with OU coming, but Texas can go be an independent for all I care. They're gonna come in and try and run shit and that never works.
