Not only is it objectively bad, I just have no idea who it’s for. Lots of times bad lineups still have a discernible target audience, but with this I can’t picture the type of person buying a ticket.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.

It's just hilarious that John D was trying so hard to trash Adjacent Festival, saying that their festival "looked to the past while Bamboozle will look towards the future....." and then he went and booked Limp Bizkit, Steve Aoiki and Rick Ross as his top tier.
He also made fun of the Adjacent undercard, calling it "a bunch of acts that play Starland Ballroom every year," and then he posted an undercard where I dont think a single name could even fill Starland lol

I still don't understand the business model of not including your headliners in the initial announcement. Or why you'd even divide up your lineup announcement at all. I'm thinking they still might be able to snag My Chemical Romance as their main headliner. But then the next big name is gonna be some shit like Demi Lovato.
This will sell absolutely no tickets tomorrow. You have to release the name of atleast 1 headliner. They are banking on a lot of nostalgia and a lot of loyalty.

The funniest thing thats gonna happen is that theyll claim they sold out of early bird presales and had maybe alloted 500 for that just to make people think its doing well.

Fall Out Boy has been teasing their new album/2023 tour. I 100% expect them to be here.
That phase 1 lineup was very disappointing, and seems to have performed pretty poorly in terms of social media shares and publication coverage. They really need to knock it out of the park next week if they want to stay afloat.

I bet even if Fob are on it that people might look at this one and this its much more scammy than a WWWY because youre buying nft tickets and crypto just died. WWWY at least proved to the haters that the fest was real and they didnt steal everyones money.

I don’t understand how they think they’re gonna sell 30,000 tickets, when they haven’t announced a single artist yet that has any type of demand. Still 9 days left of additions but you would think they’d want the to start off strong.

The whole marketing strategy of this festival is so bizarre. Why would you release the lineup in “phases”? Why would you not include at least one headliner in that first announcement? Why have you still not announced a headliner? Why are they dragging out the second phase across 10 days, and how come were 4 days in and it’s mostly bottom line artists? Not to mention that Saves the Day has some nasty grooming allegations against the singer, and Attila are notoriously homophobic assholes.
At one time I thought My Chem, Fall Out Boy and Halsey would headline. Now I’m banking on Brand New and All Time Low.

My guess is they are announcing bands as they get confirmed. They are probably still waiting for the headliners to jump on board so they don’t even know who is headlining yet. That’s the only logical reason I can think of because only a complete idiot would think this is a good strategy.

Man, I was pretty sad to hear I was going to miss the return as I have a kid on the way in March, and I always wanted to go to Bamboozle as a kid. This lineup has made me okay with my situation lol
