Though Bamboozle received preliminary approval to go forward earlier this year from the Atlantic City Mayor’s Office of Special Events, it hasn’t yet been granted final permits, city spokesman Andrew Kramer said.
Final approval “will happen once the festival acquires the required risk management, police, fire, mercantile and health permits,” Kramer said. “We would prefer this had been taken care of by now, but we’ve been in touch with organizers and are confident this will be resolved in the very near future.”

They havent received final permits yet, they haven't hired their security yet, they haven't replaced 3 big names that recently dropped off the lineup (Blackbear, Ice Spice, Boys Like Girls), they've only sold 6k total tickets, and it's in 17 days.

This is a disaster waiting to happen. I kind of hope they don't get the permits just for the safety of the people that actually do show up. But at the same time I want to see how it goes lol
6k in tickets is honestly astounding. Who saw the presale or lineup and said, yeah quack it, take my money?
Keep in mind thats 6k tickets across all three days. So the most likely scenario is that 3k of that is from presale tickets sold from before the lineup was announced, with maybe 1k single day tickets sold for each day.
Even with a lineup as terrible as this, the fact that they couldn't even get a few thousand Trippie Redd or A Boogie fans to buy single day passes at those discounted prices is embarrassing.

I cant wait til they cancel it and say theyre gonna hold like a show at a Starland Ballroom for all the real fans or something. All the blame will go everywhere but the fest. I bet theres gonna be shad at coachella. "Look at the dumpster fire if frank ocean, bamboozle is better." Well one thing happened and the other might not.

In that podcast he did recently he really said that Coachella would never work in New Jersey and that people on the east coast wouldn't give a shit about that lineup.

He's delusional.
”new jersey party people” is one of his favorite buzzphrases

If anyone is local and wants to check out this shit show, there’s a QR code out there right now for free passes. People have been redeeming it for multiple passes and it works.
Even though it was a total shit show of a ride and im glad im not fighting for a refund but it brought us a Saves the Day (can’t slow down set) and Finch (what it is to burn set) in philly Sunday. I will be there. Thanks John for being a total douche because of you got this great show lined up.
