Lucy's dates rule her out. Only day she's available is Monday and that would require her to go Maine > Woodstock > Newport > Buffalo > New Haven which seems really unlikely

I think lucy is doubtful, but I've seen acts who play day 1 of a fest, play another fest 6 hours away, and then play the original fest on the third day.

Isn’t she available for Friday as well with nothing before that? As for Monday, Woodstock to Newport isn’t any worse than Maine to Woodstock (the day before). But yes, Newport to Buffalo would be a heck of a day trip. (And Newport booking boygenius and Middle Brother on the same day would be odd.)

Isn’t she available for both Friday as well? As for Monday, Woodstock to Newport isn’t any worse than Maine to Woodstock (the day before). But yes, Newport to Buffalo would be a heck of a day trip.
i guess she is available Friday - i thought her tour dates said July 23 but it's actually June 23
but yeah my take is that doing portland to woodstock to newport to buffalo to new haven in a five-day consecutive stretch just doesn't seem to make sense

Middle brother has pushed me to just go for the full 6 days. The FOMO is real. And fuck the last last 18 months, just gonna do a double Newport for my first time

I’m going on the weekdays and I’m hyped so far but nervous for when more weekend announcements start rolling out. Big Thief are the one that’d get me to try for a weekend ticket if they got announced
Also I’m assuming/hoping the artists who haven’t announced a specific date will be around for both
They played in 2019. Even came out for the If I Had A Song set on Sunday
Also it’s crazy that that was the last set at Newport. Feels so long ago now.
Yeah, it was one of those sets I planned on seeing a bit of before going to the main stage but I think they started late and I didn't stick around ad much as I wanted to

Yeah I wondered why the no dates listed for some, illy Tsrings announcing both feats was interesting l. Kind of crossing my fingers one of them is a billy and the Kids with Billy strings set
So I’m going solo for all 6 days and it’s my first so I’m a bit lost. I’ve done a little bit of looking around but basically if I want an affordable stay for that long it’s looking like my only option is a private room at an Airbnb in providence. Is there any secret spots or anything I’m over looking as a closer option.
