This is one of my biggest issues anytime they bring up any type of fundraising or cost issues. They constantly have a huge demand that is unmet. Hell, even on the website they are all too often sold out of plenty of items and seem to not care to change to a supplier that can fulfill on demand rather than the foundation needing to have inventory on hand. Most of the stuff at the merch tent this year wasn’t even 2021 specific, rather just generic NFF shirts and whatnot
Unsold festival merch isn’t a lot of fun to get rid of
would it really be unsold though? they were out of everything by midday Saturday.

Where is the guy that said Middle Brother isn’t a headliner? 🤣
I’m pretty sure their busking stage set today was one of the most heavily attended and enjoyed set of the day. Really wishing I could see their full set tomorrow.
All together it was a great day. Much more Newport feeling than the other two days.
Also responding to my post about the beer gardens. At least put the quad one back where it was! Its so far away and blocked behind the sound tent.

They played the busking stage and tomorrow they play at 3:50 on the lawn. They are, in the absolute most literal sense, not a headliner.

Not if they’re still trying to reschedule the night sweats set, their only free day is tomorrow. Now, if they’re out of the picture then I agree with you.

I’ll be setting up shop on the lawn Monday and Tuesday. Bummer Hiss and Fruit Bats overlap so much, they are two of my faves. That’ll be a game time decision. I’ll also squeeze in Bonny Light in between SVE and Beck.

It was an ideal example of a nff set… mc taylor, taylor goldsmith, aoife o’donovan, rateliff, Twain, Hayley Hendrix, tre Burt all joined (and probably others too)

Emma Swift is pretty pissed about getting bumped from the busking stage for MB and rightly so.
We walked past her, Robyn, and a guy that seemed to be their manager outside of the busking tent while MB was setting up and you could hear how upset she was. Everything we witnessed is in line with what she’s claiming.
