The push to put BKB in the D1 runoff initially saved Jaz, though I voted for Jaz to put him back in. Theo and Dan were the other two who were saved in the D1 runoff by BKB being an auto-exile. Tranter moved off me to BKB, but the gut feeling is Tranter is town.
lol what? In almost every game when whack strategy comes up I harp on how the Mafia want to get the inspector first, and misdirect second. I agree that I don't think this is necessarily a shot at Inspector, but I don't think it exonerates Dan like you do. I think it's just as likely that Mafia were shooting blind, or just wanted to whack a decent player who didn't say much.

I'm being voted because I was also voted D1? To be fair there's literally nothing to go off from the whack and basically nothing to go off from D1. I'm also not a fan of voting off of tone right now because that feels too easy for mafia to fake with no pressure at all so far, so I think it would make more sense deciding some grouping from D1 to put into the runoff, maybe the people with no votes or something

Agreed , and that’s why I’m taking the route you just mentioned there: group of no votes.
It basically feels like d1 all over again right now which sucks
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

Dan808 I've never played with an oracle - would it be common for the oracle to out themselves now so that we don't put them in the runoff, they get whacked, and we get a role? Is it the kind of role we don't say anything about? I'm not seeing a downside to sort of crowdsourcing this in our first attempt, when the game is already off to a weird, unhelpful start.

If this is basically another D1 due to what's happened so far, those with no votes now - Maddog, Jaz, Rummy, KPO. It probably makes sense to switch it up a bit.

why would you assume they'd get whacked right away? specifically if them dying is bad for mafia
Dan808 it's a meta question, and since it was your idea, I thought I would ask you. The oracle does no good to us living.
I’m just worried that trying to predict what should happen with Oracle in open too early does nothing but help mafia. But to answer more broadly, not entirely sure, there’s a couple strategies I’d view as legitimate for oracle.
OK, but it's better for the town to exile mafia, seeing as how we get 5 chances to get 3 and we've blown one.
I agree but if we do end up putting oracle in an exile position I’d imagine they would go silently and we would get their info the next day. In later days it would make more sense to reveal because it would be harder to be proved wrong about it

We've done nothing but help mafia this game. We really need something to turn the tables, IMO, or we are going to lose.
