"Price said Hopscotch will return to Raleigh from Sept. 9-11 and will look different than in years past because of the shorter timeline. He is working out agreements with Duke Energy Center and Red Hat Amphitheater. But other venues will host in-person events."
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
Would love some more Pitchfork crossover since they're the same weekend.
black midi just seems like a Hopscotch band
They definitely are, but they're at The Grey Eagle in Asheville 10/23, and Haw River Ballroom 4/6/22. Don't know if they would pull 3 NC shows in that time period but hopefully!

Yeah fair point. Just saw a massive gap on their schedule after Pitchfork and they just seem like an act Hopscotch would definitely go after.
Eh gonna sit this one out. I’ve got tickets to Judas Priest and Lucy Dacus / Julian Baker x 2 that weekend. Y’all have fun.
Welp, I started to rethink this. Not gonna decide till some sort of line-up drop but I went on and reserved a room at the Holiday Inn a few blocks over. Honestly though, it’s Beasley's fault. Welcome to that age in your life where Chicken + Waffles are more important that Judas Priest.

Did you change your name to Beasley? I gotta update my contact information if you did.
I’m joking. We’ll hang provided I don’t get attacked and come down with vertigo again.

Given that they’re starting at tier 3, it’s pretty pricey for this lineup. I basically justified it by Archers and Caroline and the jazzier stuff. They haven’t announced the day parties, either (but I expect those to be local artists/bands anyways).

I realize there was little time and resources to put this together, but I’d be deeply disappointed if I had held onto tickets from 2020. Looks like a very uninspired vision from the new management.
