Thanks. I have Apple Music. Because Apple owns my soul.

not on spotify yet, thanks for the heads up.
i know we can stream any show on bandcamp but i like it when they choose a show to add to regular streaming services. it's a signal that this show was important to them for some reason and worth listening to.

it's nice to have shows on streaming services so casual/new fans can get into them. it's a lot easier to tell someone to listen to a show on a streaming service they already have than to explain that bandcamp and youtube have a wealth of content. it's also nice for when i'm using apple music and can keep using it instead of switching to bandcamp
it's reassuring that they chose a show that a lot of fans think is the best one of the year. it shows they're receptive to what their fans like instead of doing their own thing and hope they follow along. i love this band

getting off topic but i've been using spotify for a while and it's remarkable how much of a trash app it is, and it seems to just get ever-so-slightly worse every year. it regularly "goes offline" for no reason, even when all other apps are online and work perfectly. frequently i'll tap a song and it starts playing a completely different song. sometimes i can't stop a song from playing, even when the app is closed, and i have to go into system settings to force kill the app. podcast functionality is poor, the symbols for what you've listened to and what you've added to your list are unintuitive, and the sort function always seems to reset to most recent.
but still i use it mostly for social reasons, easier to share tracks with friends because it's what most people use. even then if i was an apple guy i'd probably try out apple music.
For the past few months I've been using both Spotify and Apple Music mostly because of Joni Mitchell. There's not really a clear winner imo. Spotify curates better playlists for me, but I've used it for much longer, so the algo knows me better. I prefer the look and feel of Apple Music. Both have exclusive podcasts I enjoy. I'll cut one soon because its silly to pay for both but I can't decide! If I didn't have history with Spotify I'd probably just choose Apple.
Also I have an android phone and the android Apple Music app is better than the Spotify app which is just funny

this is damn near the only upside that spotify has. it works pretty well as a social media-esque service where you can share and make playlists with your friends and no other streaming service even tries this. also the apple music ps5 app is surprisingly pretty good.

The obvious answer for a favorite Goose song is Hot Tea (live versions) but both in terms of the main melodic portion and the variety of where they can take it during jams I'm partial to Creatures

I was trying to indoctrinate my cousin's 5 year old into being a Goose fan by playing him Time to Flee with the very simple, kid-friendly goofy lyrics like:
"It was time to flee
The elevator I'm not a waiter So see you later Alligator"
That one made him laugh and he was retaining and singing it a bit. I tried Animal as well but he didn't know the words "phenomenal" or what "abdominals" are lol
per my post in the random thoughts thread i just got a big ball o' wax pulled from my ear at the doctor. listening to the studio version of 726 right now. what a beautiful song to hear so clearly. we are so blessed to have music to listen to.

premium tension and release jamming in that Factory Fiction. shit gets out of control I love it when that happens.
