I feel like I'm starting to get antsy for the daily lineup + additional acts. I was hyped at first, and its still very good for my tastes, but I think I've lost my excitement a little bit. I imagine it will still be a few months before we get it.

I’m feeling the opposite. This fest to me with it’s timing and lineup make it a super low stress end to fest season. Lots of fun acts, very little prep work of listening to set lists I’ll have to do, and probably not too many insanely heartbreaking conflicts. Just a fun fest to close out the year. Unlike say Primavera where I’ve been stressing over conflicts, researching artists, and hoping for additions for over a year now lol
I’ll take Run The Jewels for a replacement for Gunna.
Also, Little Simz canceled/postponed her US Tour citing that as an independent artist she couldn’t afford the trip/tour out of pocket. Wonder if They will be replaced as well(or not).

Nah, Simz is probably still in. A lot easier to fly in for one fest than do a whole tour. I don't want RTJ as the replacement, I want them with Rage next year.

Looks like the Rage/RTJ Tour ends April 2nd, of 2022. If Firefly stays in September then they really won’t have a touring connection to Rage anymore imo. Better chance of it if it moved back to June but still doesn’t seem likely they are still touring together by summer next year. I’m also under the impression that we just completely missed out on Rage unless they end up on the on the Coachella lineup again in 2023 as well.
Very Early 2023 prediction Miley Cyrus | Dave Grohl & Friends | Cardi B | The Strokes….(Killers)

I'd say there's at least a 50/50 chance Rage headlines Coachella next year, and probably Firefly, if headoverfeet gets her wish and the festival is moved back to June next year.

Honestly I don’t even want to talk about lineup speculation for 23, I just want the feat to stay in September. Between the way that works with my schedule and how this is a reasonable drive from where I live, they can book just about any lineup and I’d be down.
Not sure how indicative this is, but looks like Gryffin doesnt have Firefly on his website. Firefly socials also did not post anything about his new single, which they are typically very good about promoting artist's new music, especially the top couple lines. Not looking good tbh.

This wasn't true, he updated his site and added Sunday as the date. Looks like Gryffin live show is closing the fest.

Gryffin as the closer is a bit underwhelming for me, thought it would've been fun for it to be Porter. The closing show of a fest always hit super hard emotionally, would've fit Porter's vibe well.
