Those are some nice adds- especially Haim, a solid second-liner at any major festival. Way down the lineup are Lo Moon (been wanting to see them for years), and Michigander, an unfortunate casualty of last year’s Thursday weather event. Glad he’ll be back.

Huge bummer about Little Simz, she was probably my number two for the whole weekend. Haim is always great, Michigander is cool, Isaiah Rashad impressed when I saw him at P4K a few years back, Lo Moon is severely underbilled imo, but Firefly always has weird billing.
I'm gonna shake my cane here for a moment, but does the Kid LaRoi have music besides the song with Bieber? I just don't understand that billing. I hope he closes out one of the stages so I can get closer for a headliner one day.

he has that super misogynistic emo rap song that goes like you cant make a wife out of a hoe. that one gets radio play and is still pretty big on tik tok. I have no clue how hes that big tho its a real headscratcher. totally agree abt wanting him to close a stage though, would suck to have to wait through him for MCR. if he pre hls for anyone im hoping its green day

The Backyard stage hosts the vast majority of the Hip Hop artists at Firefly, at least as of last year.. If Kid Laroi were closing out a stage, it'd be the Backyard almost certainly, if it's the same setup as last year. There was a clear trend last year where the Firefly stage and Wonder stage were almost entirely rock, the Backyard stage was Hip Hop and a couple bigger EDM artists, and the Pavilion and Nest were obviously the dedicated EDM stages.. Which I honestly love how they dedicated stages to certain genres last year. Hopefully they stick to that arrangement.

i remember whatever year the national played made in america they pre headlined the main stage and no one was there. it was just people waiting for the headliner

That is surprising, because it's not like their music is that polarizing or anything. I like their sound. What's funny about that year is The National preheadlined for Kanye and Pharrell preceded Kings of Leon. Seems like a mismatch of genres. They seem to have skewed much more towards hip hop in recent years.
sooo where the fuck is the daily lineup? payment plans ended a couple of days ago and looking at last year they revealed the daily lineup along with the adds in early june. Would think with how poorly this seems to be selling theyd want to squeeze money out of people with single day tix

if we dont get anything next week something is prob wrong
I think for people like us the daily are still very important but a lot of people just want to know when the headliners are performing and we have known that since the drop
