It was extremely unfair of you to include Chicago, the best city definitely in this country, probably on this planet, possibly in this universe, on this list, but I understand why you had to do it.

RIP San Francisco, Dallas, Jacksonville, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Austin, Orlando, San Diego, Asheville, Memphis, etc; y'all should've tried being the premiere city in your own state
Also RIP Indianapolis, St Louis, Cleveland, Birmingham, Little Rock, Boise, Albuquerque, Milwaukee, Kansas City, etc; y'all should've tried being interesting

St. Louis rules but you're 100% right re:Milwaukee.

flew into a blind rage the moment this guy referred to Kingston Mines as a "jazz club".

Asheville is way better than Charlotte. In fact Charlotte might be the worst city here. I haven’t been to most of them.
worst city on this list is very obviously Baltimore
It’s way better than Phoenix or Charlotte, good arts scene, unique local vibe, decent food, cheap living, iconic cheap beer. Don’t think it’s top 10 but Baltimore is great.

Me too. I've been to most of these and Charlotte is the last place I'd want to live and last I'd want to visit again. Its just boring with no real identity

Exactly! How on earth is Charlotte considered North Carolina's "premiere city" over Asheville?

I’m glad I’m not the only one that finds Charlotte boring. We’re directly in between Atlanta and Charlotte on 85. If a band is coming to both we’re almost always going to Atlanta. I actually think Greenville is better than Charlotte.
