totally valid to hate boston proper but you gotta admit we have some of the best italian food in the country
Oh for sure. Mike's Pastry was the best cannoli I have ever eaten in my life and La Famiglia Giorgio's was the first time I ever picked the better meal and holy shit that shit was amazing. It was also the first time I had prosciutto and I am a fan.
omg thats so funny I actually just went there last night! Did modern pastry instead of mikes though. Giacomos is also fire
This hurts to read, but I'm okay because I know you are wrong
I saw it at what I assume is one of its peaks - after a national title, Tebow's Heisman season (2007), packed house, 3:30 CBS game vs. Tennessee. Maybe a night game would be a bit different but I can't imagine there are many better games to see.
I understood why it's called the Swamp, it was miserable weather wise.
I was the last Vol student in the Vols section behind the Vols bench (like 3rd row) and the Gator dude sitting next to me was super cool. The Gator gal sitting behind me kept harassing me by elbowing me in the head (among other things, but that was the objectionable thing). It got to the point where my new Gator pal next to me got her and her friend thrown out without me doing a thing about it.
It was close at half, I don't remember the score, but I think first drive in the second half the Vols stalled at midfield, downed a punt at the 1, and Tebow came out and threw a bomb that Harvin caught for 49 yards. It was so deflating, the Vols got blown out the rest of the way, final score 59-20. Brutal.
Will never go back.
aye, I was at that game. until security saw my whiskey, confiscated my ticket for having alcohol in the stadium, and then arrested me for trespassing for being in the stadium without a ticket.
was there long enough to see this epic hit in real time though

Okay yeah being a Tennessee fan at the Swamp anytime in the last 20 years would've sucked 😂 The heat is definitely a part of why they say its a tough place to play. This past season I was at the border of UT and UF fans and we threw some verbal jabs back and forth but it was all in good fun. I admittedly haven't been to very many college stadiums so I'm just talking shit, but the Swamp is absolutely electric for a big game and I've been going since I was a wee lad

Whose side are you on here?
it has its pros and cons, i’m biased towards it of course but i can see whats off putting about it to people who havent lived here for a while. The racism here is absolutely out of control along with the gentrification but we also have some of the best bars, restaurants, and activities here in the country. Not to mention close proximity to national parks and quebec
Once upon a time, I had some family members think it was a good idea to cut across the Big Bend going from The Villages to FWB. And um, yeah that's depressing as fuck out there. Should have just stayed on 75/10.
Also, The Villages is only great if you're 10 and don't know any better or a 70 year old MAGA from the Midwest that likes key parties.

Basically you just described Burlington VT, only with more racism and farther from Montreal.
I am shocked everyone is so quick to give NYC the crown. I’ve lived here for almost 15 years and I would put Portland at the top of my list. This place breaks your heart as much as it gives you a good time. As my boss says, it’s a bad boyfriend

You have possibly the worst drivers in this survivor.

boston drivers complain way more about other boston drivers but it's not that bad compared to NYC
