If “artists spawned” does matter at all, Minneapolis should get a pass for a couple more rounds on Prince, alone. That’s not even getting into Husker Du, the Replacements, Morris Day & the Time, the Doomtree collective, Bob Dylan, the Jayhawks, Babes in Toyland, Atmosphere, Lizzo…now that I dig into it, Minneapolis may punch above its weight class in this category more than any other city on the list.

Anyway, I'm voting Honolulu, not even the first place I'd go in Hawaii. Or the fifth.
Minneapolis is awesome. Has a great public transit system, which matters more to me than it should. Big enough to feel like a big city, but small enough to be maneuverable, which matters to someone with a disability (read: me).
For all its faults (weather, sketchy PD, etc) it's be a top 2 choice for cities to move to. The other being Denver.
Philly having only one vote is wild. Fun memories visiting there as a kid include almost being run over and having the driver scream obscenities and seeing shrunken heads at the mutter medical museum.
