I've never been to Philadelphia. I've never had much interest in visiting Philadelphia. Besides a delicious cheesesteak (which I can surely get in any one of these cities), what am I missing?

but also, you can get a cheesesteak anywhere but it's different in Philly. And the roast pork sandwich is even better!

Not going to sway you on Philly, but this is false, sadly.

I've been to Philly and yeah, it's called a Philly cheesesteak for a reason.
A week late for St Patricks, but here's a list of my favorite Dropkick Murphys songs:
“I Dropped My Claddagh Ring In The Urinal At Bennigans Again” “Just Gonna Thumb It In Tonight, Maggie” "February Sunburn" "The Yankees Killed My Daughter Probably"l
boston def isnt top 10 but i am quite surprised that its going out before Philly, Denver, and DC
Tristan and DMS are just trying to piss me off
I'm fine with philly or dc going out too, but if the best thing about your city is that stuff happened their 200 years ago that doesn't really sell me on it. Miami is warm and fun and has good music.
fuckin love pounding Sam Adams Oktoberfest straight down my gullet every fall like 😍😍😍😍😍 fuck me harder Sammy Daddy
sam adams is pisswater, its the smaller breweries you go to here. Also have a lot of really neat cocktail bars in and around the city like backbar, offsuit, deacon giles and saloon
Sam October is ok, but Jack's Abby Copper Legend is a hell of a lot better

Ya, honestly a little surprised by all the Miami hate.

i learned in the private forums a while ago that most of these inforoo nerds don't even like the beach

I honestly think I can get better cheesesteaks locally than in Philly. I have had Pat's and Geno's along with various others in Reading Terminal, food trucks, etc. I Like Philly, but just sayin'
Boston is a city with a lot of history. Unfortunately for Boston, history is boring as fuck
You're obviously not a big enough nerd then. History is a super important factor for me! Cities with history have cool architecture, landmarks, and things to do.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

somehow my friends suckered me into being a Flyers fan

How about it's not that far to Vermont and just a bit over an hour to coastal Maine?

I will try to respond first as a transplant so maybe it's kinder than a natives response would be, but don't go to Pats or Geno's. They aren't even top 10 spots.

Oh. I am fully aware. I have been to Philly probably 20 times and have gotten a cheesesteak on most trips from all different places. Those are the only names I can actually recall off of the top of my head.
