What's with all the Miami hate? Cuban food, beaches, great weather. Boston is cold, beer-y, and cold.
I looove a good Cuban sandwich, but I prefer cold to hot (anywhere super hot, especially super hot and humid drops WAY down the list), beer is delicious, and beaches aren't really a draw for me in general, especially the beaches with the Miami vibe.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
Legal weed, all 4 seasons, history, great music, amazing food both casual and super fancy, a beautiful harbor with concert cruises, a gorgeous central green space, I mean Boston just rocks folks.
from a sports logistics perspective, the fact that Gillette Stadium for Pats and Revs is so far from Boston is a huge negative compared to Philly for Eagles (even if the Union are in Chester).

philly fans are slightly less annoying too, there's a certain charm in being a bit unhinged.
Of the top 30 biggest cities by population in 2020, only Chicago has a higher dissimilarity value than Philadelphia. Curious what metric you're seeing where Boston is shittier than Philly? On segregation mpls/Chicago/Milwaukee are gonna blow everyone out
Nah, just proving a point that you can't judge a city by a mascot. LOL I did realize after I posted, not one but two, questionable NOLA photos that it might come across that way. But you know, sometimes it be that way.

Do you actually think Chicago and Philly are the most racist cities out of the top 30 in the country?

In terms of structural racism they're up there, all cities are terrible in their own way. Mostly pushing back on the Boston hate, data of hate crimes and racial inequality doesn't always line up with stereotypes we have. Edit: Boston certainly great at overt racism
I don't think I can adequately put it into words but Boston is the only Northern city I've been too that just makes me feel like minorities aren't particularly welcome.
