I didn't know Boston was so hated until this week. I also had no idea it was known for racism either.
the racism seems exaggerated at least from what ive seen spending time in the city but there are absolutely a lot of very vocal racism boomers living around the suburbs. The WBZ Boston facebook comments give you a prime example of that. As well as the massive backlash and hate directed towards Mayor Wu. There are also a lot of notable incidents at Boston sports games, which I have thankfully avoided. Without our sports fans I think Boston deserves top 10 at the least but they drag us down here

There are 17 MLB ballparks in the 20 cities that were originally in survivor. Here is my ranking of those 17 ballparks:
17. Yankee Stadium 16. Guaranteed Rate Field (White Sox) 15. Truist Park ("Atlanta") 14. Marlins Park (or whatever it's called now) 13. Angel Stadium (Anaheim of LA) 12. T-Mobile Park (Seattle) 11. Chase Field (Diamondbacks) 10. Citizens Bank Park (Philly) 9. Nationals Park (DC) 8. Wrigley Field (Cubs) 7. Citi Field (Mets) 6. Minute Maid Park (Astros) 5. Target Field (Twins) 4. Coors Field (Denver) 3. Fenway Park (Red Sox) 2. Dodger Stadium 1. Camden Yards (Orioles)

I know some people have expressed some strong opinions but I think for the most part it’s all clowning that will just get piled on to another city soon. I think going out halfway through a survivor is pretty good! You guys beat Miami!
Boston and the Metro surrounding boston is also very hard to explore within a full week. its not surprising me that most people clowning on it dont live even remotely close nor spent a decent amount of time here. its like me saying new york is a shit city because the first time i went i only spent time in the touristy parts of manhattan

The fact that Comiskey has multiple train options for getting there should probably be a point in its favor but I can’t fault you for ranking it so low considering that “Guaranteed Rate Field” may be the single worst name of any building in America.

Truist Park is nice af and has a Waffle House in it how is it that low
They are almost all nice these days because they are varying degrees of new. Truist Park has one of the worst locations in MLB, it was a nightmare to get there - we stayed in Buckhead and the uber took us 90 minutes. It's fine, but there's nothing distinctive about it, which is what I look for.
Is that park ranking on the vibe or amenities or what? Fenway has some charm but it's not actually a comfortable place to watch a game and is insanely cramped. Ditto Wrigley to an extent.

I love Comiskey and agreed on the train options. It got knocks for being so old but not charmingly old (like Fenway/Wrigley), for the area around it (very few bars, though it was a decent tailgating scene), and for very few distinguishing features.

Everything. The most important thing to me in ballparks is uniqueness - what is the distinguishing characteristic? It's why I love Camden (the Warehouse) or have PNC Park at #1 in the entire 30 (the skyline is framed phenomenally).

That's fair and your list your rules.
To me I tend to rank them in what's the best possible atmosphere (fully baked, all in) to watch a game on a sunny, summer day or a packed night playoff game. And its always 1-2 with Wrigley and Fenway. I kind of value that mix of historical charm and fan/crowd liveliness.

I am 2 hours from Boston and 2 hours from NYC. I wouldn't really say that I identify with Boston (or NYC). I know the cities well, but I wouldn't say that I would consider myself associated them.
