Imminent schedule seems likely. More things shifting on the website. Kali Malone details: Thursday night organ set, Saturday night electronics moved at 7:15 at Old City PAC, third set "Live Diffusion Presentation of Living Torch" but no venue/time/date yet. A lot of overlaps still in times at some venues.

I should know better than to do this more than a week before the event, much less before the official schedule has been release... but:
Thursday My Brightest Diamond -> Mivos Quartet Plays Steve Reich -> Exploding Star -> Rich Ruth
Friday A Conversation with David Byrne -> Music of Annea Lockwood -> Antonio Sanchez & Bad Hombre -> Danielle Ponder (seems like this or Sanchez's set are going to be moved) -> Steve Gunn & David Moore -> Shane Parish -> Pino Palladino & Blake Mills -> Son Lux -> Makaya McCraven: In These Times -> Caterina Barbieri
Saturday Robert Ashley's Perfect Lives (assuming this time is just a place holder) -> 32 Sounds (Film by Sam Green, Music by JD Samson) -> Josephine Foster -> William Parker: Mayan Space Station -> Devendra Banhart -> Ichiko Aoba -> Brandee Younger -> SUSS -> Tim Gick
Sunday Fuji||||||||||ta -> Morton Subotnick -> Theon Cross -> Caroline -> John Zorn: Painkiller -> John Zorn: Cobra
"Must See" But Not Scheduled Reid Anderson Bill Orcutt + Chris Corsano

Happy about the Lee Ranaldo add! Expecting to add the O'Malley + Malone "sound diffusions" to my schedule... hoping that they add more to Thursday (earlier in the day)... Fri & Sat are PACKED.

Website updates coming fast this morning. O'Malley at the Knoxville Museum of Art 2 PM Friday, 1 PM Saturday. Kali Malone Diffusion sets 4 and 5:30 PM on Friday.

Hmmm... does this suggest the possibility of a surprise guest appearance w/ Son Lux @ Big Ears?
Seems likely, along with Terry Allen. He'll be around all weekend given the film festival teased. And Sunday night at Knoxville Civic is still wide open...

Complete inversion at the Bijou for Sunday which works out great for me. Wadada Leo Smith 2:15 Bill Frisell Four 4:15 Michael Schachter/Orchestra 7 PM Shara Nova/Orchestra 8 PM
Get to hit Wadada > chunk of Luke Schneider > Frisell Four > Caroline before finishing with the big Zorn shows.
Bummed I’ll miss a KM organ show but at least get another shot to see her. Also realized most of my weekend will be blazing a trail from OCPAC to the Terminal to the Standard and back again.
Still waiting for the iOS app to be updated, but the Google Sheets link (Printable Schedule) is a welcome option! Although it is missing the Pilot Light info...

My difficult decisions due to conflicts/overlap/distance:
* Exploding Star Orchestra vs. Rich Ruth * Mary Halvorson (Amaryllis) vs. Steve Gunn & David Moore * Palladino, Mills, et. al. vs. Reid Anderson * Andrew Bird vs. Son Lux * Theon Cross overlapped by two shows Subotnick and SUSS (I know they're playing twice, but this is the only slot that works for me)

Looks like everything is fixed now. May the best schedule win!

My first-look way-too-ambitious schedule without considering things my brother might want to see (he trends toward the more classical/experimental side of things and I imagine we'll compromise somewhere in the middle on things):
Thurs: Lonnie Holley > Terry Allen > My Brightest Diamond > a bit of Los Lobos > Mountain Goats > end of Liturgy
Fri: David Byrne > Gatos do Sul > Bonny Light Horseman > Larry & Joe > Mourning A BLKstar > Love in Exile > eat > a bit of Iron & Wine > Pino/Blake > William Parker > Grouper > end of Makaya McCraven > Billy Woods
Sat: Bassekou Kouyate > Christian McBride > Kevin Morby > The Weather Station > Charles Lloyd > a bit of Devendra Banhart > Ichiko Aoba > Sierra Ferrell > eat > Bela Fleck > Cecile McLorin Salvant > Charlotte/Bolis
Sun: Zorn Gnostic Trio > Theon Cross > Wadada Leo Smith > James Brandon Lewis > Kate NV > caroline > a bit of Sona Jobarteh > Oneohtrix Point Never > eat > Algiers > Zorn Cobra

I'll also probably end up cutting a few shows... but here's my first second pass w/ the "official" schedule
Thur Matt Nelson's Out Series -> Sam Gendel & Sam Wilkes -> Phil Niblock -> My Brightest Diamond -> Exploding Star Orchestra -> Liturgy
Fri Danielle Ponder -> Wendy Eisenberg -> Mary Halvorson: Amaryllis -> Shane Parish -> Ava Mendoza + SUE-C -> Reid Anderson -> Son Lux -> Caterina Barbieri
Sat John Zorn: Nove Cantici per Francesco d’Assisi -> Stephen O'Malley -> Bill Orcutt & Chris Corsano -> William Parker: Mayan Space Station -> Ichiko Aoba -> Carl Stone -> Brandee Younger -> SUSS -> Fuji||||||||||ta
Sun Morton Subotnick -> Theon Cross (end of set) -> Kate NV -> caroline -> John Zorn: Painkiller -> Marc Ribot y Los Cubanos Postizos -> John Zorn: Cobra

Picking up tickets to this in a few days and then securing a hotel. We won't arrive until Friday morning, however, due to work. Should be me, Little Rock and easymorningrebel staying together, however EMR arrives a day earlier.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

Thursday: Terry Allen > Staples Jr Singers > 700 Bliss > Liturgy
Friday: New Future City Radio > Ibeyi > Love In Exile (though you can easily sway me to a Living Torch show) > Pino Palladino & Blake Mills > Grouper > billy woods
Saturday: Bassekou Kouyate > Simon Joyner > Bill Orcutt & Chris Corsano > William Parker: Mayan Space Station > Kali Malone > Zoh Amba > Charlotte Adigéry & Bolis Pupul
Sunday: Subotonic > SUSS > James Brandon Lewis > caroline > Algiers > John Zorn: Cobra
Gonna fill in gaps in a bit but these are my can’t miss shows.
