Absolutely no idea. I’m not really familiar with anything going on that day apart from his stuff. Might just go watch his movies. I’ve seen True Stories a million times, but never in a theater. I’m open to other suggestions though.
I'd check out Ibeyi and Arooj Aftab/ Vijay Iyer/ Shahzad Ismaily if you skip the movies. If you do them, just set at the Tennessee / Bijou and do Pino Palladino & Blake Mills, William Parker, and Makaya McCraven. I'd absolutely be happy with that day if it were me.

I have the hotel room booked. Same place GL is at. Haven't bought the tickets yet, but will after I get paid here tomorrow.

My brother and I have a Google Sheet where we're ranking every act on the schedule 1-10 and will conference a week before to lock in as much of a shared schedule as we can. Hoping nothing too major shifts around but if it were to do so, would love a way to see all of Grouper, Makaya and billy woods on Friday night
