Lmfao. I need to go to bed. I love all holidays, but 9/11? Hahahahaha. Thanksgiving is gluttonous and probably Top 3 [tm]. Cinco de Mayo is kind of an oddball since it doesn’t mean that much in reality. And Valentines Day is kind of a racket. The rest pretty much rule except Boxing Day which is fine but not something I personally get a day off for generating it as an automatic red x.
Grief for its revisionist history of our relationship with natives and having to deal with Fox News loving relatives.

Thanksgiving one of my favorites because there are no gifts and you just get together with people you love and eat a big meal.
I've always spent Thanksgiving with the 7 people I'm closest to in my family, we never did a big extended family thing so never had to put up with dumb political takes.

I have always done Thanksgiving pretty much the same. Last year was the first time that my dad joined us and it was just like 5 of us down from our previous 9ish. Because of that we discussed doing the Fairgrounds opening day Thanksgiving celebration this year.
