Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Just find out whatever the gun nuts favorite band is. Book them for the Sunday Piedmont closing slot so that his wanting to go to the festival outweighs his gun fanaticism. Then have them drop out Sunday morning and be replaced by a surprise King Gizzard set.
wouldn’t that just anger him more
At this point, he's basically put guns over literally anything.
Arctic Monkeys playing Alpharetta in September. Safe to rule them out. Updating my prediction to: The Cure | Muse | Paramore
Yep they’ll be in Europe in May so they’re out, speaking of Paramore they just had their first show last night and looks like Misery Business is back in their set list
As much as we all want RATM, Tim said himself that Rage was way too expensive to book. So I’m not ever counting on it but will be ecstatic if they were there.
I do hope we get some news soon on whether or not it’s even happening, we’re just a bit over a month out till we usually would get a line up
Yep. My wife is a teacher so we’re holding her personal days for this show. She’s got to use them or lose them so hopefully we know sooner rather than later. Figure we’ll pivot to French Quarter Fest worst case… which would be kind of ironic given we would have traded in a festival that is canceled due to firearms for a festival held throughout the French Quarter that has no type of screening other than added security presence.

It looks like Live Nation is partially behind the festival. Maybe they are just saying, go ahead and try to sue us. Per their website, anyone denied entry will be issued a full refund. Not sure if that's a legal work around or not. Should be fun.

Atlanta seems determined to destroy its tourism market. With their new Airbnb and VRBO restrictions it's already almost impossible to find a place for Shaky weekend.

What new restrictions?

They estimated a loss of 4,000 rental properties in the city since the law went into effect. Higher prices, fewer options for renters. All of the places I've stayed over the past 5 years are gone.
probably nice for people that want to actually live there though!
Agreed, that was part of it. The other issue was "noisy, party houses" which was not an issue for me and my crew. Too old to make much of a ruckus these days.

Yeah, as a non ATL resident, Shaky ends up costing me as much if not more than Bonnaroo, because of how much more expensive a hotel is than camping. Despite being only 3 days and the ticket being half the price.
