Had super delicious brunch at the Ruby Slipper. Omelette with goat cheese, onion, tomato, spinach, a biscuit, grits, and some berry cheesecake beignets. Went to the pool for a bit, went home and took a nap.
heartstopper wrecked me in a way I wasn’t expecting and I gotta mentally prepare myself for season 2
Just saw that pop up on suggested shows guess I gotta watch it. I put together a chair and finished up the recent season of The Bear. I feel fine after my second go around with covid - not a bad Sunday.
Played Baulder's Gate 3 all day until I got to level 3, tieflings killed me and I started back at level 2 way the fuck away from where I died. Then I went to bed. Pretty good I would say.

My dad went to the ER today. I have to work. Not a great day.

Looks like just a bleeding ulcer, his heart is very strong. They gave him a transfusion, held him overnight and are doing a scope to find where the ulcer/blood is located. Then putting him on a treatment plan. I am my father's daughter, he sent me photos being goofy in the hospital, just like I did to him when I broke my wrist.
Went for a long walk. Now I'm baking for the Annual Labor Day bike ride tomorrow. Picnic after a 40 ride tomorrow. Making banana nut bread to start the ride, and brownies and lemon squares for after.
