Making homemade bagels and free painting, listening to old mix CDs from college, and reading. Only going to devices every two hours to try and taper from screens.
Incredible Sunday for me. We woke up and went to Dripolator in Black Mountain. I got an oat milk pumpkin spiced ice latte. I had lots of bites of muffins and breads and baked shit from everyone else while driving to Burial. E was hungover so I bought him a steak frites with romesco. They had a jazz band playing who covered Kashmir. Next stop was Asheville Pinball Museum. There was a wait so they sent us to DSSOLVR to drink which was a 10 minute walk. Great place. I’m drinking my Czech fest bier and C walks up with a 4 pack of Polyphia Americas beer. I was like what the fuck. He said yeah I saw that and thought of you. It’s helping sponsor this fall tour and getting music credit for all the involved breweries. So yeah. Next was a trip to the museum. Haha. I’m pretty badass at pinball but I had a bunch of pain in different parts of my wrists arms shoulders and triceps. Haha. Muscles from childhood reactivated. Then we went to Wicked Weed and had dinner and more beer. I didn’t have to drive so that was a bonus. Finally SNF decent wine and the dogs. Grade A.
Had super delicious brunch at the Ruby Slipper. Omelette with goat cheese, onion, tomato, spinach, a biscuit, grits, and some berry cheesecake beignets. Went to the pool for a bit, went home and took a nap.

it's really so so good. there is always a minimum 30 minute wait, and no waiting area and no shade outside so you are standing downtown in the sun, so we rarely go, but fuck it's good. i love their biscuit.
I ran a half-marathon yesterday and today I worked in the restaurant for 7 hours and my knees are absolutely killing me, but I'm finally home with my feet up about to make myself a ranch water and watch The Sopranos. I'm completely exhausted, but boy oh boy am I about to be fucking relaxed shortly.
Drove through the Guanella Pass here in Colorado. Beautiful. Went to Georgetown for shopping and a duck pot pie dinner. Elevation was 11,000 feet. Tired my best to breathe this thin ass air.
FSU got packed in the ass. Saints lost. But lean and x in the hau for pretty lights and break science. Fuck some shit. Bonnaroo Sunday implosion forthcoming.
