Great day today. The warehouse line was still untenable, so we wound up mostly hanging at pier stage. Chemical brothers, my god. So good. It was pretty empty 20 mins before their set so we got close - for any later arrivals, just curious how big the crowd wound up?

How bad did the line get? Slayyter was the last set I saw in there and I got right in.
Rail for chem bros! Top 10 set for me all time! Hopefully everyone had a good time.
So…next year… Portishead, LCD Soundsystem, or Bjork would be cool and I’m not a huge fane but Odesza would plug into that flume spot. Any headliner wishes or semi-realistic predictions?

We went over to try to go to Channel Tres shortly after he started. There was a big mass of people, it looked like people were getting in slowly but smoothly but there were so many of them that I didn't feel like sticking around to see how long it would take.

The line was non-existent 10 minutes before Kelly Lee Owens started, but my friends mentioned the Channel Tres line was insanely long when they walked by too. It was so disheartening walking into the festival and seeing the mass of people before Fred again.. on Saturday. Luckily I encountered no line for any of the acts that I actively tried to catch in the Warehouse (Jamie xx, Bicep, and KLO).
And my god, that Chemical Brothers show damn near melted my mind. That’s a top 5 show for me and almost beats their Coachella 2011 set.

Robyn, please. I could also see cut copy or hot chip, Gesaffelstein, Soulwax, Ratatat, moderat, Todd Terje. Yknow, the message board favs. Seems to be the vibe they’re going for.
1. Chemical Brothers 2. Arca 3. Charli xcx 4. Four Tet x Floating Points 5. James Blake 6. Caroline Polacheck 7. Bicep live (might have been higher if I got to the whole set) 8. Danilo Plessow (MCDE) 9. PinkPantheress 10. Shygirl
All in all I had a great time and I'd return (lineup dependent) as long as they booked another lineup that appealed so hard to my tastes. It was pretty barebones, but hard to really complain when there's always big time acts i wanna see the whole time. Got a little cold Sunday evening but not too bad. I had a ton of fun also just getting to explore San Francisco for the first time and it was also really cool that the Folsom Street Fair happened to be going on during this, it was cool to check that out Sunday before heading to Portola.
