It feels like the Chemical Brothers normally try and play two shows a weekend when they play in the US. Are we guessing they’ll also be at CRSSD, or do we think they’ll have a solo show in LA on Friday or Saturday if this fest sells out quickly?

The packages invite when out 15 mins earlier than presale and we jumped on one. Came out to $639 for three nights for three people including 2-day GA pass for each. Not a bad deal.

If I wasn't going solo I would jump on one of those. A few of my friends are interested, but I'm not waiting months for them to commit.

Went with VIP saturday and GA sunday. Got some friends who wanted to do VIP and figure it'll alleviate potential new fest issues on the first day. Can't fuckin' wait.
Copped tier 1 tickets! The payment plan is a joke though
Half now half later is a joke for a fest in 4 months. Theyre not even shipping wristbands, its etickets. Shouldve allowed to a 3rd payment, thats at least reasonable given the time.

jealous of those of you going, I don't think I can pull this off this year so I'm hoping for a Chemical Brothers show in LA/SD (and CRSSD would be ideal).
I was looking at Pier 80 on google maps and is this festival taking place in that parking lot where all the teslas are parked?

I would be pretty surprised if Chems play CRSSD, I gotta figure they're a GV exclusive and if anything will do a GV show in LA.
It seems like yes, the parking lot is the spot. GV runs Second Sky fest in the Oakland Arena parking lot and they put astroturf down over the parking lot for that, so I'm hoping they'll do the same here. Also curious if they'll incorporate The Midway as a venue.

Considering Jamie is in LA the next week Im sure Chems is after Portola. Theyre def going to wait on announcing a solo show til this gets close to sold out. Really hoping its not the Friday before.
purchased! definitely stretching myself thin but hey lineup is too good not to try. any one know cheapest spots to get flights into SF?
Generally SFO is your best bet but Oakland is worth a shot too. I live in Oakland and do both airports equally, neither is terribly far from the city and both have public transit options to get in. I wouldn't fly into San Jose, it's a trek from there into the city.
EDIT: also, JSX flies into Oakland. It's not the cheapest option but it is a *really* nice way to do short flights, and saves you a bunch of time with check-in/security. I don't think google flights will show those.
