Water seemed really hard to find unless you were in VIP or clubhouse but if you're at the outsiders stage security was giving out free water on the right side. Hopefully they keep that up tomorrow, too.
They should just add a water station if thats the case. Did the grass hold up?
Yesterday was a fucking blast. Saw so much great music and this was an easy festival to navigate. So glad I geared up for the sun/heat otherwise I would have been toast. Definitely saw some people who looked like they were melting. Water was super easy to find - IDK what y’all are talking about.

I'm basing it mostly on the subreddit and the complaints was that the map showed a spot that wasn't there. The only refill stations I personally were in clubhouse, inside VIP, and behind sad girls. Personally I didn't have any issues finding a place since I had VIP access and it was right next to ADA.

Did anyone see Peter Murphy fall during Ziggy Stardust. He ate shit pretty good but barely missed a beat.
My top 5:
Bauhaus Devo The Beat/General Public Public Image Limited Black Marble
TR/ST was a bit of a let down and Cold Cave had some issues and ended early but all the acts I saw were great although The Church was kinda boring. After Under the Milky Way they just jammed for 10 minutes, which was cool, but a weird way to end a set. Morrissey is such a crooner and I could listen to him sing the phone book but it would have been nice to get a few different Smiths songs.

Yesterday was a blast, but I'm jealous of people going today since it will be a few degrees cooler and less crowded.
Food lines were outrageous. Drink lines between sad girls and lost boys seemed too long to bother.
Drink lines near the main stage were surprisingly short. Water stations were fine and easily accessible near main stage, but tough to find water anywhere else.
Main stage had plenty of tree shade spots to squeeze into and although it was uncomfortably hot I wasn't miserable at all. That city of Pasadena sunscreen might have saved me a few hours in.
Bauhaus, Devo and Violent Femmes were great. TR/ST and Black Marble were fun but felt really short. It seemed sound was rough for everyone at Sad Girls.
I wasn't considering TANP before yesterday but now thinking it would be a good time.
Bauhaus were definitely the highlight. I loved how Peter started the set with the lone camera on the big screen. And yeah, I caught him falling but everyone clapped when he got back up. Dark Entries was so good.
Blondie was packed but you could get on the hill and get a view of everything. Devo were fantastic too. Easy views. Bodes well for TANP.
Going back today to catch the earlier acts. Hoping the lines are cut in half. Did anyone else think security was really lax? Just had to empty my pockets in my hand then walked through the detector and that was it. No wand or scrutinizing what I was holding. Heard it was the same for people with bags too.

Security just waved me through with out a bag check or any kind of search. Friend was flagged by the metal detectors and had to go through a pretty thorough bag search.
Should be an easier today hopefully considering it never sold out but at the same time I talked to a bunch of people that decided to pick up a last minute ticket for today. Presumedly those are resale tickets though and should cause much of an increase in attendance.
I’m pretty tempted to get a last minute ticket again today just for Devo>Bauhaus, but I’m already going to a movie at 2 PM. Ironically, 1931 Dracula at the New Beverly. Bela Lugosi’s dead.

My bag was not checked at all. Just walked through metal detector
For anyone who went both days, how did today compare?
everything just seemed way easier. No issues parking even though I arrived at the same time, gates opened early, no bag check (either day for me), shorter lines, and it wasn't as hot. The sound issues at Sad Girl yesterday weren't an issue today.

Top 5 of the weekend
Blondie Bauhaus Devo Public Image Limited Psychedelic Furs
I even got to tackle some drunk girl outside of ADA at Sad Girl for going after my friend Erik who's probably the chilliest dude ever. Karma was that she lost her phone. Ha! Her boyfriend was a giant douche and punched me but just barely.
