I brought it up when they scrubbed socials and started teasing things but not since the release date came out. I'd love to see Fever Ray at Coachella again, but might be more likely at JLH or TANP.
Now it gets interesting. Ladytron no So Cal date the weekend of what was Cruel World this year
That would mean Cruel World would be 5/13 and 5/14 is it's 2 days again.
Interpol & The Walkmen 11.23 I Am Morbid/Suffocation 11.26 King Diamond 11.29 Sadistic Intent/Massacre 11.30 70K Tons Of Metal 2025 Hell's Heroes 2025 Sick New World 2025 Maryland Deathfest 2025
If it’s 5/13, that must mean acts like Skinny Puppy, Ministry, Killing Joke, KMFDM from SNW are all out which is a bummer. Those are heavy hitters that would have sold the fest well.

I just assumed based on those Layton dates but it could easily be the prior weekend with Cruel World kicking off the US dates. I wonder if there even could be overlap or if there are radius clause issues. Or, maybe it'll just be a single day and those acts okay cruel world the 12th and Vegas the 13th?

Could be either these acts, which really stick out, were specifically booked to be shared with Cruel World or Live Nation did it to compete with CW and gut their line up. Hard to believe they would want a competing fest with those same bands only a few hours away.

Well sick new world is sold out now. But i dont think a handful of crossover bands is gonna hurt anything. Cruel world audience wasnt gonna drop everything to go to vegas for the nu metal side of the poster. If they did to it to kneecap Cruel World then they have to have a very much diff lineup brewing.

Fever Ray and Ladytron feels like a weird start to a festival that catered to a much older crowd but I'm all for it.
Perfect acts to fill in the Blaqk Audio, Cold Cave & Drab Majesty spots tho.
That’s what I think they are going for but they are much bigger than Drab Majesty and Cold Cave and much more rare. Would suck to have Fever Ray at the CC spot (like 3pm).

Fever Ray is a supergroup with Sugar Ray on vocals and the rhythm section that got fired from Fever 333, I think they're a great booking for any festival!
Unless Live Nation wanna bully AEG more, sounds like all bands from SNW not on tour are still possible. Give me Sisters of Mercy, Killing Joke, Skinny Puppy and fill out the rest with Twin Tribes, Boy Harsher, Death Bells, Clan of Xymox, The Chameleons and call it a day.
Is it too crazy to think they might go bigger and have The Cure headline
I mean itll guarantee a sellout. Would also justify a price hike. Nobody gonna get upset forking over $200+ for The Cure, Siouxsie, Love and Rockets and Echo at the top.
