Has anyone mentioned Travis Scott yet, since he’s playing the three south american editions
Why should they. Who cares. The second he ends up on any lineup poster it will drum up Astroworld and tons of questions. We dont even know how its going to go in SA if/when he performs. It would be considered more of a shock value booking than on any merit right now.

In the way how acts like Tame Impala, Gorillaz and Dua Lipa were massively overcrowded and very hard to get out of. That booking would be a disaster waiting to happen lol.

I guess part of the argument I’m trying to make is that for any insurer to sign off on Travis taking the stage, they’d have to implement stricter measures that’ll make the fest in general safer. It’ll be under max scrutiny and force their hand on the crowding issue.

Booking a dangerous act just to make everything safer overall in your eyes is a tactical error. What are they going to do to make it better if they kept the same stage placements. Lower the cap or spread people out with the schedule or dont do side to side main stages. Theyre not the type to compromise their "vision" since they bungled the first day this year and understaffed it to boot. Its a not so simple venue to plan for and trying to predict crowd traffic is one of the hardest things. I mean maybe if they made the 2 main stages be opposite sides of the Parc Del Forum might keep people on respective sides if the counter programming is really strong and you eliminate the Need to run back and for as much, or just lessen the occurance. If i thought it was gonna be too much of a pain in the ass to walk 20 mins to see somebody and I had a fair alternative right around the corner I might just pop over to see that instead.

Layout was fine after the first day and water really wasn't that crazy after that day either. It's mainly jokes from me. There were water stations, could have been more, I guess. In VIP where there weren't stations they had canned water for a euro which isn't so bad. It's not Liquid Death. First night was a logistical doozy but they hadn't done it in awhile and I think overall it was fine.
I never found a working water station the whole two weeks. Other than when they were just handing it out for free. I’d say I went to the bar at least 3 times a day to buy 2-3 €2 small water bottles. Since they open them before you leave the bar, it’s hard to buy like 4-6 and be good for a while. I’d also always hit up that little market by the entrance for a giant £2 bottle for the walk back. I’m also overweight unfortunately and have a higher hydration threshold because of that.
The fountain by the entrance to walk to Bits by all the tshirts stands was easy but the one on the walk to mordor always had a huge line. Those were the only two i used/came across iirc
I pretty much only got max two bottles from the giveaway stands per night. The rest was just beer, and even w that I didn't drink much. I mean it's only hot for like max 3 hours before it chills down, so.. Staying hydrated is not 'that' hard. Just like any festival, walk the extra mile to go to a stand where there's less people and you can easily get drinks and not wait like 30 mins to an hour like the thousands of morons did on W1 and complained about it on Twitter.

I had a camelbak and I would go to a stand and get like 4 cans of water at the start of the day and dump it in the camelbak, then go to a bar stand and get a couple ice cubes, and that would last me through a good amount of the night
I mean the whole not having water thing is just a europe thing writ large not specifically for this festival. there's no free water anywhere its all pay by the ounce

Having done NOS Alive, Mad Cool, Rock Werchter, Pukkelpop, Primavera, Down The Rabbit Hole and Lollapalooza Berlin there was ALWAYS the availability to get free water, what are you on about.

I meant like restaurants. I havent done any of those festivals and obvi I dont live there just spent a couple weeks over there this year so I would def defer to you on this
