For any other fest, it wouldn’t matter but Primavera is the one fest that books headliners I really like. A spot for Travis or Lizzo would take away from the Blur’s, The Cure, Rosalia’s, Björk’s of the world. It wouldn’t be a deal breaker overall though.

But you’ll still get good counter-programming. Skip Travis for something ridiculously rare and better like Unwound and Bikini Kill.
I could get how people going both weekends could want every headliner slot used for someone they like, as they’ll get a chance to see every single one, but for those just going to Barcelona, there will be more than enough great acts to make up for a couple of dud headliners. My favorite day of the fest this year was The day I didn’t even go to Mordor, and I kinda regret the amount of time I spent waiting for good spots for easy to see headliners rather than just bouncing around between the outer stages on some days

Isn’t Mad Cool typically in early July? I feel like take that late June date lines up more with that than Primavera. Pretty sure this will be a non-issue in a few days if more dates are announced.
Is this a festival he's booked for? Or a venue? And was this announced through them?
It’s I-Days festival in Milan. It’s pulling on both Spotify and Ticketmaster (dot) it. It hasn’t been announced yet but the festival said they have something coming Monday. I’m sure it’s at least the announcement.
Some weird logic that Travis Scott is a likely with a show in Italy 3 weeks after the festival, but Blur is not when they keep on announcing shows in Europe and Damon has a history with the festival.

I need more dates to say yay or nay but I’ll agree with the logic that Travis would make sense. It’s gonna come down to who offers more money. I don’t see him touring Europe for a month either but I may be way off base there.
I do like the fact that Blur is going backwards with these dates.
Someone on Efest is saying next week and Kendrick would be on the line-up.
I saw that and was pointed out that he said Frank Ocean would be there last year. I’m not sure I’m buying the Kendrick but would make sense for it being next week.
Mad Cool should be soon as they’ve been counting down the years and just wrapped up. I feel like both will be announced close together.
