Granted I didn't book my flight until like February this year, but flights to Spain are currently expensive as fuck. Like around $600 more than I paid for this year.

I can't decide if we should just buy now or wait to see if they're going to come down. My fear is it's only going to get worse.

How much do people normally pay for housing to this thing? My group of 6 is coming to like $4500 over 6 days on the cheaper side of things for available options when looking at hotels and short term rental sites.

I'm going to wait it out. If it gets worse I'll most likely sell my ticket. This is a great lineup, but not a $1500-1600 flight lineup lol. That difference in price is another vaccination for me.
I do think name-for-name Coachella is gonna be better than this. I think Primavera going to 6 AM in Barcelona is kind of an ace in the hole, though. That enhances many of these names, to be able to see them in the wee hours of the morning. Really hoping to do both this year, even if that's all I do shows-wise.
Yea i like this lineup alot but I'm waiting to see what Coachella looks like. HR just emailed that I used 36 hours of PTO in October and I only have about 10 in the bank as of yesterday.

Flights are straight up fuel charge. We’re flying outta Dulles to save a bit of cash. You can snag a flight for $780 rn. Problem is it’s on TAP and you’ll pay $100 for a checked bag each way.
Take F1 out of the picture and its probably 30% cheaper for lodging at least.
Feels like F1 is adding 30% to flight costs too.
Flights have been bad overall already. Calendar wise its a tricky ass time to fly across to Europe. Its technically still spring but not summer so you either might get a deal or get gouged. Just seems its the latter currently. Lodging adjusts to events like clockwork. Only a few times a year can you expect flights guaranteed to be murder like thanksgiving or christmas/nye.
Wow they brought back Perfume and Arthur Verocai! So bummed both of them dropped at some point from 2020/2022. Sooo jealous imagining Boris at like 3 AM on Ouigo.
Pretty fantastic line up, I'm surprised by the muted reaction on some forums/reddit. It does seem to have less indie than this year, not necessarily a bad thing IMO. I guess stuff like Calvin Harris is really meh to see on a Primavera poster but that just means more room at every other stage.
It’s a great lineup and will almost certainly be the best multi genre lineup in the world but I wouldn’t call it a top tier Primavera lineup.
Seems a bit more diverse genre-wise than pre-2019 Primaveras, but I'm no expert. I think replacing Calvin with a Pulp or something similar would have helped first impressions a lot. What was a top tier Primavera in the past? 2022 comes to mind, 2016 too.

TAP was surprisingly fine for me this summer
That’s good to hear. I’ve never flown them and was a bit worried.

definitely wait on flights IMO. lodging...idk, feels like it'll just continue to sell out in most nearby hotels and others will get more expensive as the remaining options dwindle

BOOKING DOT COM. Reserve. Reserve. Reserve. Some will be no deposit and free cancellation.
Personally, I worry about lodging before transportation.
I could save about $400 if I fly out of JFK instead of Chicago so I might just do that if prices don't drop over the next few months
Honestly, that’s what I always do when I fly overseas. If I’m going to Japan, I book a round trip leaving LA then find a cheap flight there. To Europe, round trip from NYC then cheap flight there. Last time I went to primavera, it was around $5-600 for all the flights.
