definitely wait on flights IMO. lodging...idk, feels like it'll just continue to sell out in most nearby hotels and others will get more expensive as the remaining options dwindle
BOOKING DOT COM. Reserve. Reserve. Reserve. Some will be no deposit and free cancellation.
Personally, I worry about lodging before transportation.
As others points out, Im a little bit concerned with the lack of electronica / dj's on this.
roughly looking at the lineup, there are still around 13 or so electronic acts a day. not sure how it compares to previous years off the top of my head, but still not bad imo.

I think the concern is less about the numbers and more about loosing an area of the festival.
I'm wondering/hoping they're gonna announce Bits later, maybe don't have full confirmation they can use that area yet or didn't have the room to mirror it to the Madrid lineup.

Feels like they focused on getting bigger electronic acts (Calvin, Skrillex, Fred Again.., Four Tet) instead of filling up the undercard with those similar acts. And those big names took away from the indie acts people seem to be complaining are missing.

That could be enough for NTS and Boiler Room, but seeing how they were placed this year it could mean losing the Bits area which is worse cause I think the BR-stage should be at Bits and not causing sound bleed to surrounding stages - which was def the case for Plenitude and Cupra.

Perhaps, but that would mean more big names aswell since artists like Charli, Gizz, Burna Boy etc. all played? I honestly don't see it..
Kinda dissappointed they couldn't get Björk, but got Halsey instead.. Though, I'm curious what she'd bring to the table tho. Her headline set at R&L got great reviews.

I’m actually pretty stoked on Halsey. I’ve never seen her and love that last record.

Some people on Efestivals think Bjork is playing Mad Cool which seems weird to me.

Upon further review, I’ll likely be selling my tickets. It’s a cool lineup for sure and would still be a fun weekend, but not enough to warrant the insane hotel prices, even if the airfare would be dirtcheap from London. Kinda mad they threw big money at Calvin Harris, Halsey, Maneskin, and Skrillex. Oh well. I’ll catch Blur at Wembley and I’m sure Darkside, Twigs, and Death Grips will play London at some point next year.

A friend took me to her show this summer. I was iffy about going, but she was actually really good! She leaned pretty heavily into the NIN sound from the last album, and gave a lot of older songs a more rock-edge.
The overall tepid reaction seems to point to not even as fast as this years edition. Guess the price hike and apparent lack of mind blowing acts wasnt enough.
