Does anyone know how I can sell my ticket from DICE?
I had a an extra weekend one pass this year that I had sold to a friend in 2021. I had to wait until they made the transfer available to give it to her, which was around 2-3 months before the fest I beleive.
Edit- I checked my email and the transfer was the very end of March.

He mentioned mobility. With the poster already assured, I would say that the main challenge of Spring is how to move people.
We have taken on that challenge from the moment it was decided to hold the festival in Madrid and do it in the Arganda del Rey grounds, which offers us many advantages and does not put pressure on the citizens. It is an enclosure built specifically for festivals that must be renewed and intervened, but that is made for that. We understand the responsibility of bringing the public to the premises in conditions of speed, efficiency and comfort. We are developing a mobility plan that will be historic. We have to develop something that is serious and ambitious enough so that there are the minimum essential problems in terms of traffic volume on the access roads. We are close to being able to announce the conditions of that device. We are aware that the final capacity of the site will have a lot to do with the number of people we can move in good conditions.
Is the capacity not fixed yet?
There is a maximum legal capacity of around 100,000 people, but it will not be in that figure. It must be fixed in relation to the transfer of the public and the conditions of comfort in the enclosure. In Madrid there is less problem than in Barcelona because it is a practically open-plan enclosure, almost on a single level. In Barcelona, which is an enclosure with different levels, we are considering for this year a reduction in capacity of between 10% and 15% compared to the previous edition, so that there are no crowds in public transits, between some scenarios and others, and that there are few crowds in bars.
I’m always down with less people. Honestly, with the price hike, I’m expecting it. Though that could be easily explained by the inflation and just the current state of touring being more expensive.
I’m still laughing because I truly think it’ll just be me in Madrid hanging out in a field for 3 days.

Yeah Primavera was like only good artists last year, and it would be hard to book a lineup as good with all of those artists pretty much off the table. This year there are some acts that are questionable. The difference between midcards is pretty stark that way. So yeah, I think Coachella could definitely get it done on the second and third lines in a way Prima didn't.

agreed. like i really enjoy Primaveras lineup this year dont get me wrong but the headliners and second liners dont do nearly as much for me as even just w2 of 2022.
coachella has a gargantuan budget to work with and they def pay extra to get more exclusive acts. plus if they book Frank and he actually shows up, that alone would make it better IMO

I'll probably like Prima's headliners better tbh. But that might end up being all.
Coachella will have more depth, but with that being said, Primavera has a pretty good lineup. I give it an 8 out of 10. I am deducting points for some of the acts booked at the top that don't normally fit their format.
It's the lineup and then the fact that primavera goes until sunrise, shit so good
And God-willing, Auditori.
I was fortunate to see Low, Kim Gordon and Autechre in Auditori last year. It qould be a shame if they can't use the venue, even if it is limited capacity.

I spent a lot of time there. It's completely ridiculous. Saw those three, Evian Christ, the Caretaker, Jenny Hval.. Basically just parked in there until the Sun went down. It's a cheat code to have an air conditioned venue with plush seats that doesn't clear between sets lol.

I happened to be in walking distance of the fest, so it was easy for me to get there early to lineup. It was nice to escape the sun for a bit. The weather was great, but that sun was brutal until about 6:30-7 pm.
I gotta lead on $750 airfare landing on that Monday and seriously thinking about picking it up. The only problem is it lands late and I’ll miss the Ciutat shows for Monday. Positive perk would be that I’d get to hang in Casablanca for the afternoon.
Past The Goa Express, is there any must see’s for you guys that day? Just Mustard is my only really “I HAVE TO GET IN” but that’s Tuesday.
Locked in flights today! Going to smother my annual Coachella envy by reminding myself that I'm going to fucking Barcelona!
Have you guys started making a list of non-PS stuff you wanna do?
Nothing too official, but we'll take any recommendations on favorite dinner/brunch spots, beaches, museums, etc.
Edit: My wife will probably want to see Sagrada Familia. She bought me a travel guide type of book that looks quite extensive for part of my Christmas presents, but I haven't looked at it because I've been studying for this exam next week. I'll really dive in at some point and probably get obsessive about it. My main focus is the festival, the beach the days before/after, and good food (and coffee), but she's mentioned museums and other activities a few times. We're flying in Tuesday morning/afternoon and out Tuesday morning/afternoon, though, so that limits our time outside of the fest.
I’m working on a list now but checking to make sure stuff is still open. In doing that I came across a restaurant called Disfrutar that is from chefs who used to work at El Bulli. SERIOUSLY SERIOUSLY considering dropping the 255€ and making a reservation. Would anyone else be interested? I realize that’s a lot of cash for a meal but El Bulli was (and always be) my favorite meal ever.
I’m gonna try and throw together a brunch closer to the dates if people are interested. Obviously open to both internet weirdo’s and their plus ones or people they are with.
