I had no idea that smoking was still a thing, until I went to Spain last year. I felt like I was transported back to my adolescents when people could smoke anywhere.
There were times last year where all I could breathe was smoke and it wasn't a great feeling. The basic eradication of cigarette smoking in this country is one thing we have over Europeans lol.

I smoke but try my best not to be a dick about it. I honestly can’t remember the last time I smoke inside of anywhere but absolutely live for outdoor balconies.
the smoking was one of the worst parts of the fest. i enjoy a drunk cig every once in a blue moon but damn that was just gross. tbh though it was worst at mordor and thats where i spent a significant amount of the fest, wasnt nearly as bad at other stages
i wish i didnt pussy out on the weed shops when i was there though. whatever Pablo got was great

The cafe or whatever you want to call it was a chill place to hang out too. I spent a few hours just watching Barry on my laptop in there. Also right by a major train exchange, so easy to stop on the way to/from other stuff. I'd just go in grab a Coke/Fanta and get to business. They sell Estrella in the vending machine also.

"Europeans". Please calm down, smoking is just more normalised in public space in Southern European countries than in Northern Europe (and even then, I think Southern European countries vary from each other. Think Italy is much different than Spain or Portugal). Here in Belgium, the things mentioned are not a thing for years already. Last year they announced that you cannot smoke on the platforms of train stations anymore, even if it is outside in open air. In cafés, bars, concert venues or any public space it's been not allowed for yearsssss.
But I guess to impelement that you gotta atleast 'have' public transport, guess that is one thing we have over Americans lol.

Didn't think there was smoked a lot, didn't come across a lot of people who did unless at dj-stages, and even then it still were only a bunch of people. Wrong spot wrong time?

I'm totally calm and I agree public transportation is joke in America with the exception of a few cities.

It isn't the first time that people talk on here about "Europeans" as if it's one folk, it feels degenerate.

By a sudden turn of events it looks like I will be going to the Barcelona edition for the second year running before jetting off to Best Kept Secret. Does anyone have advice for buying my ticket for this? Should I wait until last minute to try and save some cash?
